Meanwhile, judging by your glee at Dame and Nurk's playoff failures, you're the guy who likes to point out that your ex who dumped you is looking fat these days.

Missed a crucial FT to allow Philly to send it to OT. Rooting for NY, so hopefully they pull it out.

Love Josh. Can always count on 100%. What he's not is clutch however.
"the grit & Hart the Knicks showed, got them through a hard fought playoff series against 76ers."

we gave up this guy for kris murray.
Was a stupid trade at the time and looks even worse now.

Probably the former Blazers I most wished was part of the team since Aldridge.

Now in terms of guy we traded away can't think of many, I guess Batum was the most talented, but Hart was just way better to root for and a way harder worker. Going back further there's Patty Mills or of course Jermaine but they were limited role players.

Funny that Batum was playing a big role on the other team tonight.

Can not be more happy for him! He was easy my fav Blazer, when he was on the team, but there was no point to hold him here.
He is in better environment, better culture and plays for something. Good for him.
Shame we Blazers couldn't recognize and value players like Hart and I hope, with the new owner at some point we can change Blazers culture for better.
For now on Hart is the player I want to win it all. He deserves it.

I guess we could say that about any good player - no point to force them to stay on a shit team.

No, not only that. He loves to play with effort. Lack of effort was in Blazers culture for some time now. Grant fits Blazers culture much better:)

Lets be honest. 23 yr old draftee, Kris Murray was not really the flyer we hoped for.

So your issue has nothing to do with Hart and getting something for him, it's with the decision to go for KM. I have not watched enough of the dreck the Blazers peddled this year to really form an opinion, but as I said, the Hart move was 100% understandable and correct. They did not lose an asset for nothing.

If they later made a bad decision with that asset (and again, I am not going to argue for or against it), that's a very different discussion. It has nothing to do with the correct decision to get an asset for a player that would have walked for nothing otherwise.

Not sure why you think those should be separate discussions. Those are very obviously connected in my mind and I would hope our front office does the basic evaluation of potential available players at the pick they acquire before making such a trade.
