Trade Josh Hart traded to the Knicks (2 Viewers)

Welcome to our community

At least I don’t gotta watch Hart be scared of shooting anymore, something tells me Reddish will be the opposite.

Isn't the roster limit 15? this would give the Blazers 16. Another trade incoming?

We aren't winning shit this year. Basically everyone here agrees. Hart likely walks in free agency, and instead, we get a 1st round pick. I'll wait to see what pick, but if it is likely to actually convey as a 1st, that's a great trade for us. Fuck the whiners here.
Welcome to the gunning-for-Wemby camp!

Completely agree, that’s why I’ve been pushing for a fire sale.

I agree. Hart is not going to be a huge difference for us this year, and he's going to be paid more than Portland should pay him after this year, so getting value for him now is good.

Also, ideally this will open more minutes for, like, the future of this franchise (Sharpe and, to a lesser degree, Little) although maybe Billups will just give all Hart's minutes to Payton until he breaks something next week.

Maybe this is Joe's way of making Chauncey play the rookies more? [Edit: I was typing this at the same time as Ed's post above]

Yeah, I guess Obi, Grimes or Quickley would all get them there. So I guess it doesn't have to be more than 10M+.
We are not getting Obi, Grimes or Quickley lol come on. That's why the 1st is there.

we're getting a lotto protected 1st this season. For a guy who likely walks. What were your expectations?

And the Knicks will be in the lotto so we won't fucking get it.

Still giving all of this until tomorrow afternoon to see if it makes sense for this season or if we're just punting, which I won't be cool with.

It may not be their pick.

What teams pick? What are the 4 seconds?

NY has a lot of "1st" round picks with little value from prior trades.
