if we stay healthy with that core, easily 2nd in the division behind okc
we had major injuries at the end of last season that derailed everythingricky: acl tear
pek: bone spurs in ankle
kevin: concussion from javale mcgee swinging his long ass arms through
Then why the hell are you excited about bringing on former Blazers?

LOL yes because Oregon isn't known for it's outdoors and hunting at all

Can't fucking wait until school starts again so these children go away until next summer

67-27. Portland's record vs Minnesota all time

Has Minnesota ever, in their history finished ahead of Portland in the standings? That's a real question, I'm not sure

dewd, minny outdoors>portlands

I understand why there is a lot of butthurt out there in Portland about this whole Batum thing, but if it makes you feel better I'm sure the Wolves would be willing to send Darko your direction to mentior Leonard!

They'll have to just to afford him.

Getting shit from an organization who drafted an ineligible player is awesome

Then why the hell are you excited about bringing on former Blazers?

i dont see nic batum getting acl tears from out of the blue
roy is a calculated risk that wont hurt us if he cant play

The one thing I am scared about is if we were going to match any offer why are we so publicly upset about it? Shouldn't we just do it and be done with it? Batum is never going to were a Timberwolves jersey! You know nothing!

The nice thing about Minnesota is that you have the 4 major sports. I mean you guys have lost more major sports teams than Oregon has even had?

we lost 1, the north stars, and now the wild are the best team in the league

rookie season
8.2 apg
2.2 spg
OUCH!
you wish you had ricky

Not after he tore his ACL.

I like Ricky. I think he's a flashy player. He'll be fun to watch. I think he'll be able to run an offense, but he needs to fix that God-awful shot, or teams will be able to slow him down. I dunno. Just not sold on him yet. I do like him, just not yet sold on him. Reminds me, at this point, too much of Jason Williams.

LOL at new dude who is slightly biased about all things Minne over Portland.

You guys have such hard-ons Portland so much you're taking our retreads and becoming the Hipster Capital of the US (and you're even joining our board).

ricky: 80%
pek: 74% pretty good for a center
kevin: 82%
luke: 90%

Far be it from me to argue with the Eminem of St. Paul, but I don't think anyone in Portland wants to hear your excuses about injuries. We're the best at injuries, so back off.

You got us there.

1. rookies rarely shoot well and are usually incosistant
2. 34% from 3 is not god awful

ricky is going to be an allstar, no one is worried about his shot. he can get into the lane and dish it to kevin or pek for easy buckets

You got us there.

Minne wants to be like Portland so bad that all of their players decided to get injured.

.357 from the floor is God-awful. No way around that.

Don't take it personal that I'm not in love with Rubio - it's an opinion, and one that many people have. Just as you and others feel he'll be an all-star.

We have better press than MN, all of our reporters tell us the facts. Quote one article from From Minnesota who tells us we are to not get Nic. You guys are full of it. If we are not going to match why are so may saying he will. Suck it! We got the advantage! No reason whatsoever to think otherwise.

you ever been pheasant or duck huntin?

Dunno about MM, but I have. There's plenty of it in Oregon, but probably not as much as there.

Minne is a beautiful place, but fuck the extremes of the winter and summer. I can handle the hold, but the humidity at times during the summers? Fuck that. Once you take a morning shower, your skin still feels so wet all day long. You can't dry off.

The problem with Jason Quacks theory on the amount of the contract that the Wolves offered is if the Wolves are offering market price, why would Batum cancel his other meetings with other teams? The Wolves blew him out of the water with the offer, which we all pretty much agree is above his actual worth, so he cancelled the other meetings. Now the Blazers have to live with the contract for 4 years.

I'm waiting at this point. Minne can't do anything with Batum before they release amnesty someone. I think Minne was holding out hope they could get us to S&T, but if they really want to make an offer, they have to make a move first.

I could totally see Minne forcing Batum's anger by saying, "Well, we'll give you this, but we can't because of the cap, and Portland won't take our shit offer. So be mad at Portland for not bending over."

If I were Batum, I would not sign the offer and just take the one year QO then bail on Portland next year. Portland will be forced to trade him between now and the middle of the season if he did that, or lose him for nothing. The big argument against that is what if he gets hurt... well how is he going to get hurt standing in the corner taking jump shots?

To whoever posted about Love being disgruntled. Just how disgruntled do you think Aldrige is going to be after Batum goes to the Wolves? Seriously, I think it's a pretty solid argument that the Wolves are in a better position than the Blazers are, and I really think it's just a matter of time until LaMarcus get's pissed and wants out.

Love likes to talk a lot, and I think he means it when he says that he wants the front office to bring in better pieces, but I really don't think he wants out. He's just being passionate.

The other problem if the Blazers match is now they have a player that they know is unhappy with his role and they are going to try to then try to fit a square peg in a round hole.

Great sound logic, man. You should totally be an agent or something.
