Next season with a front line of Aldridge and Hibbert who do you think will score more, the Blazers or a 300 lb pimple faced ginger living in his moms basement? My money is on the ginger... So Fez Hammersticks, you see, there is still hope for you.
You better leave Robert Swift out of this!

LOL - So this didn't happen (articles just like it were plastered all over NBA news sites for a year):

Barring some sort of language barrier or misquote, “a senior member of Rubio’s camp” seems to have confirmed to the New York Times what we all pretty much knew — Ricky Rubio does not want to play for the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Timberwolves continue to push him toward the N.B.A. as soon as possible, contending privately that they have a commitment from him for next season. But Rubio’s camp does not appear to be convinced. “The bottom line is, why would he want to play in Minnesota?” a senior member of Rubio’s camp said this month. “He’ll continue to say all the diplomatic things, and Minnesota needs to keep his value up for trade purposes, but the family’s preference is to be on the East Coast, specifically New York, Miami or Boston. He wouldn’t be troubled if he has to stay another year.” But the Timberwolves have leverage. They hold his exclusive draft rights, meaning they are the only N.B.A. team with whom he can negotiate. Their latest strategy in try...

As for Flynn, he's gone. He was just a throw-in on a trade. Gladly, we weren't the sucker NBA team that wasted a high-lotto on him. I sure feel bad for whichever team wasted that pick.

unless it came out of ricky's mouth do not believe, he said himself he likes the small market better because there is less pressure and the people are nicer. He has nothing but good things to say about the people of minnesota.

if you post anything negative on any other teams page you get banned which is super lame

Cause we try to act like adults here. Unless it's with our own fan base. Sorta like I can call my wife a bitch, but you better not

So ironic. :biglaugh:

You guys don't even have the cap space to sign Batum. And you're talking about salary cap?

The difference is we have quality players at every position locked up for years. We dont need the salary cap. Its going to be tough for the Blazers to fill holes on that roster with no money to spend.

He spent two days there. Nice try, though

Funny how you keep bringing up Rubio, the PG who suffered a major knee injury. But, finishing 5-21 last season, I guess you have to grasp for straws.

He went back to Spain to visit his family two weeks ago.

Don't be butthurt! You have a point guard too!

After seeing this barrage of garbage (aka Minne Timbertrolls, as they even call themselves), I am convinced it was Minne fans sending most of the negative tweets to Nic.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new Superteam here... The Minnesota Timberwolves! Watch out Miami Heat, the wolves are coming for you! :biglaugh:

Hey Minnesota peeps, can you tell us why you hate Joel Przybilla?? This never really made any sense to me. I know he left the Gophers early, but this is a serious question. Can you enlighten us a bit?

This is fantastic. I didn't even know Minnesota had the internets, let alone fans.

David Kahn.

Checkmate

What team passed on Kevin Durant for a guy who isn't even playing anymore?

Mostly because he left early and it was right when the Gophers were starting to become good again after the scandal. He also took a giant dump on his course work. A nasty article encouraging him to leave in the Star Trib by local dumbass/hero Sid Hartman didn't help any.

I was at that draft as it was the only one ever in Minnesota, and he was HEAVILY booed.

Who would win in a game of 2 on 2?

Sam Bowie/Greg Oden or Michael Jordan/Kevin Durant?

I have a feeling that comment might get me shot.
