Jrue Holiday trade ideas

No thanks looking at the Clips and good chance the Blazers end up back with RoCo and that is not a good thing but whatever but not sure they have good pieces to trade for him

I can't see anything the Clips could offer.
That's my problem both with trading Jrue to the Clips directly or trading Jrue to the Sixers with Harden going to the Clippers. Apparently the Clippers really rate Mann, too.

Yup. That's why Kuminga gets consideration. I might even like Tari Eason who I think can be that consummate role player at the starting 4.

I suppose we could move CP3 but not for much. We would have to take back a couple of bad contracts.

I would love to find a way to get Jeremy Sochan (perhaps CP3 and a couple of players to SA), but I don't think there's anyway that SA would part with him.

Scoot/Simons/Sochan/Grant/Ayton
Thybulle/Sharpe

That would be a really fun team.

Call me crazy, but now that Dame has been traded, I would love to get the two unprotected picks from Miami along with Lowery and either of the two young guys. Miami will not be good in five years. I have no problem trading Jrue there. Would Miami offer that though? I doubt it.

I don't believe, for a micro-second, that Miami was offering two unprotected picks, that far out, for Dame. If I'm right, they sure wouldn't offer unprotected picks for Jrue

You might have the OP on ignore and can't see it. Otherwise you should be able to.
Thanks, that explains it. Certainly not going to friend that extended list to find it.

I'll just say that some folks were dead sure we would trade the Sharpe pick. And some folks were dead sure we would trade the Scoot pick. Just sayin......

The more I think about it, the less enthusiastic I am about the teams that really want Jrue. Hey, déjà vu!

I can see Joe waiting for a Bucks-style out-of-left-field offer. Somebody like the Pels or OKC.

(I could talk myself into Miami, but I'm betting Pat actually IS too proud to trade with us now.)

I'd like a good young prospect that slates to be a starter at some point ala Tari Eason, Sochan, Mark Williams, etc.

personally, I'm pretty unimpressed with almost all of the ideas being thrown around in this thread.

lol...Boston; Philly; LAC...? wut? is it possible to find 3 teams with worse combined trade assets?

I don't think Pat gives a sh about being proud. Jrue would be great pick up for Miami. And he wants to go there, lol.

I guess we'll see. But if he even mentions the NAME Tyler Herro, Joe should just slam down the phone.

I want to preface this by saying I'm very high on Jarace Walker and also I wish fucking fanspo would update their trade machine.

We trade Jrue to the Nets for Simmons and the Suns unprotected FRPs in 2025 and 2027

We then trade Kirs Murray, Jabari Walker and both of the Phoenix FRPs to the Pacers for Jarace Walker.

I think we would really try to heavily feature Simmons and Jerami for the first few months of the season and hope we can rehabilitate Simmons' image and push the price up for Jerami. Then between 1/14 and the deadline we trade both of them for picks and either expirings or increase the amount of picks and take on bad contracts.

What're y'alls "surprise" teams that could make an interesting offer for Jrue (i.e., not Philly, Boston, Clips or Miami)?

I'm high on Jarace Walker as well, but I'm not THAT high on him...holy crap that would be a whole lot to give up. No thanks tbh.

CP/Kuminga is the deal I’d prefer
When will Kuminga show anything, though? We've been hearing for, what, three years that he's the next big thing, but he's always an on-court negative. And CP3's salary is a nasty big pill to swallow. Plus he'd be PISSED.

I actually believe Rupert is the most intriguing guy in that bunch. Already a standout defensive player. Hopefully he can give you more than Roberson did at OKC on offense.
I think so as well. I just don’t think he was a lottery talent

Sidenote: I find it hilarious that people are saying things like "that 2030 pick is gold!"
IT'S IN 2030! We'll all be underwater by 2030! I'm not looking past about 2026 - fuck you young'uns (well, you're fucked anyway, but you know what I mean).

Something has to happen with okc sooner or later, they have too many players, too many picks.

If jrue is one of their consolidation trades or not, I don't know, but they will have to commit sooner or later, they can't continue to kick the can down the road, SGA is ready to win.

I think SGA/Jrue would be a dynamic back court if OKC can see past Jrue's age

That would be awesome for them. I would LOVE Lu Dort among the picks we'd get back. I know he probably wouldn't be a starter but he's exactly the type of player I'd love to add.
Why the hell are there so many damn guards in the league right now and hardly any small forwards?
