Are there any people that still think Cronin is a dunce who is out of his league as an NBA GM?

There were some that were loud and obnoxious and have lost any credibility they had.

Which is a shame, because some of them had something to add as a Blazer Fan, but had to go on and on and on how Joe fucked up the Norman Powell trade and they were sure he'd get fleeced in a Dame trade, even making up ridiculous one-sided results as an example of what they expected.

Exactly this. As Jrue became an iron, they were already putting out feelers for his value.

They either find something they like now, or he mentors Scoot for 4 months till the Trade Deadline.

Yeah, let the bidding begin. Nothing awkward about bringing Jrue to camp but it would be cool if we got this done before Monday so whoever we do get for Jrue gets a full training camp with this young team.

It's like people forgot that Dame put up MVP numbers at an extremely efficient level last season. This will be the best roster that Dame's had by light years. Dame will be the team's leader but he will obviously be the second best player. Dame will be surrounded by defensive dawgs. This was a brilliant trade for them. I bet they have the second highest odds to win the chip to the Nurggets to open the season.

yeah...that's the way I read it

sometimes deals like this can take several days to complete. Everything is agreed to right now, but Portland is probably asking for a couple of days to try and add a Jrue trade

Might as well go off the rails about how good one of own our young players will be.
