Who wants the perfect Dame antidote?

Wouldn't surprise me if Toronto and Miami are still interested? Philly needs a PG. Boston does too but that's a big salary to add on.

Owed 36 mil, has 2 seasons left.

I dunno of San Antonio or Orlando wants to expedite their timeline?

I hope we can get two FRP's for Jrue. That makes the trade more palatable. I'm still absorbing it. I figure blocking out Miami for the next 4 seasons is worth quite a few draft picks, but I'm a bit perplexed by this trade TBH. Like wut?

Edit: After time to absorb it, I'm stoked about this trade!

We don't waste a second here. I like the OG idea... then we can flip OG... perhaps for Hield and a first? Then flip Hield for...

New Orleans need to do something, wonder if they's want Jrue back? maybe a nice little bidding war for Jrue

Philly has Maxie

I'd be cool with Jrue for Lowry, Jaquez, Jovic and a first round pick. I don't think the Heat will be operating out of a place with any leverage and that would make them just as good if not better than they were last season.
Need another pick. Holiday and his defense are a premium at the moment with the juggernaut in Milwaukee.

he would be a perfect fit in Boston, works well in Brooklyn and fits their 2025 plan, given contract and talent both ways (O and D), he's IMO a good bit more tradeable than Dame
Think it's too much salary for them to bring in.

The only problem we may have created is that Milwaukee is going to be so good for the next few years, teams in the East may just decide to plan for the future rather than compete now.

And on that note, what was Phoenix thinking when they facilitated this deal? Milwaukee now has a better core than they do.

Why not keep Jrue and trade Ant?

speaking strictly for roster, I'd much much rather have JRue than Ant. Jrue is the far superior player and would be a very good mentor for Scott & Sharpe

as far as collecting future assets, Jrue definitely has better value than Ant because teams value defense unless their GM is Olshey

ideally, Portland trades Jrue for a young player and draft pick(s). At the same time they dump Ant
