Three teamer.

To GS:
- Holiday

To Spurs:
- Paul
- Trayce Jackson-Davis

To POR:
- Kuminga
- McDermott
- Birch
- Osman
- 2024 1st from CHA (lottery protected)
- 2027 1st from GS (lottery protected)

I didn't realized Kuminga is only 21 years old as of October 6th, so he's still 20 years old now. Wow.

Can someone help me out on this love for Kuminga? What exactly is it about him that causes people to see him as an acceptable centerpiece for a Holiday deal? Just his youth and size? I haven't seen any indication yet that he's actually good at NBA basketball. (remember, I know nothing about the game)

Red is Team Option and Green is Qualifying Offer.

So the Blazers would have Kuminga for a couple seasons on the cheap to see how he fits.

I wonder if we sent Jrue to Boston, if the Nets would want Brogdon?

I don't really get it either. I'm worried of taking on any Warriors player because of how their system elevates a lot of the players abilities to a level we can't duplicate.

I also don't get why people think teams like the Spurs/Thunder would want to take on some super old PG.

Kind of annoying. Any team that traded for Jrue would either get assurances that he would exercise his 24-25 player option or would negotiate a deal extension.

I am sure he would negotiate a new deal like CP3 did in Phoenix.

It wouldn't even need to be said. Jrue will not get 39M in free agency next off-season. So he'll either and most likely opt in for next season or sign an extension that gives him more money over more years. Not one team has to worry about Jrue being a one season rental. All of that dude's lame offers for him were predicated on him being an upcoming free agent. Shitty video.

Good point. Even Harden took his option.

Similar situation to Josh Hart.

Celtics draft capital:

- all of their firsts in 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30
- 2024 from GS (top 4 protected)

I'd want at least that GS pick plus at least one other from Boston unprotected. That said, I dont see any of these being better than 25th overall. It looks nice and all, but when you dig in, they dont have much value.

Not sure what Brogdon's value is, but one pick and a young player, plus some filler, doesn't seem like a bad trade.

I don't see Bordgon's value as high at all given all his injury issues. Horford is on his last leg. Pritchard is a 3rd stringer.

So the Nets giving up two rotation guys, a young prospect, and a future pick for that seems like a ton. Maybe Nets fans would feel different. I'd think the Nets would want a pick in return instead of giving up one, at the very least.

The GS pick could be good. I could see Golden State having injuries and sucking. They have done it before.

I just wonder what kind of value Brogdon has. Could he be flipped to a team like Brooklyn or Orlando or another team that needs a guard?

Dinwiddie and DFS are filler. If there are better options for filler, so be it. We don't care. Same with Horford and Pritchard. Dinwiddie is an expiring though.

I would have said the same thing until I saw Fred VanVleet get $40 million this off season. Crazier things have happened with the rising cap.
FVV's first season was 2016-17, Jrue's was 2009-10. So there is reason to believe that FVV has more tread left on the tires. I think Jrue will either opt in or take an extension... I don't think teams will see him as a flight risk.

Position of need with size for that position (listed as 6'8"), he's 20 years soon to be 21 on October 6th, 37% 3-point shooter.

Check out his True Shooting %. Yes, it might be inflated by playing in Golden State, but Scoot may help inflate role (and roll) players' numbers too.

Also, Kuminga is cheap for 2 seasons and is on a rookie contract. He's not a flight risk like Anunoby.
