Any bench with Turner makes NO sense.A 2nd unit with Collins, Biggie, Curry, Stauskas (all can shoot the ball) and Turner as a play maker does make sense.
A 2nd unit with inconsistent shooters or non shooters (Ed) with Turner - is not a great fit.
I'm seriously trying to figure out what you are asking me? Are you saying that trading Crabbe for Nicholson and generating the TPE isn't something I'm allowed to rationalize unless I said it before the trade occurred?I know what you mean. His moves so far are so small, they're practically invisible.
Stop batting your eyelashes innocently. When you recount history from his slant, you know perfectly well that you're defending him.
Devin Harris is a closer comparison.Lol what? They look nothing alike...
Devin Harris is a closer comparison.
He’s in Vegas for summer league. Can someone explain why Gary trent wasnt there today? I mean they just signed him to a 3 year deal...
I can....I don't like it when during interviews he talks about his time with the Clippers...today he didn't do that...big improvementWhy should he? Can you come up with a comment or take on anything other than defending NO?
We actually let the smallest guy walk...Bazz….and Connaughton was our version of Sasha Pavlovic in his 30s.....we got two better players to replace both of them...and a 2nd round pick that'll make Stauskas nervous about minutes in Trent Jr...we tried really big with Hasheem Thabeet...didn't really pan outHis moves so far are so small, they're practically invisible.
If course your sitting here saying Stauskas is better...We actually let the smallest guy walk...Bazz….and Connaughton was our version of Sasha Pavlovic in his 30s.....we got two better players to replace both of them...and a 2nd round pick that'll make Stauskas nervous about minutes in Trent Jr...we tried really big with Hasheem Thabeet...didn't really pan out

He's not. He's horrible at every part of the game except 3pt shooting. If he's getting minutes along with Evan Turner and Meyers Leonard, then we're screwed.
whew.....ok...man do I disagree with thatHe's not. He's horrible at every part of the game
glad I don't enter the season with this opinion....I'm actually excited for the new look and optimistic about the guys we signed...how much Stauskas has anybody really seen? I've seen him shoot well, handle the ball, pass well, finish through contact..etc….watched every youtube clip I could find on both guys..don't get the watering down critique you've laid out about him but hey.....then we're screwed.
redundant replyIf course your sitting here saying Stauskas is better...
Wouldn’t fit.You rang?
hey man, at this point theres nothing to defend him against! He's won some and lost some and he has 23 other organizations that hasn't done any better than he.Why should he? Can you come up with a comment or take on anything other than defending NO?

I just want to say FUCK YOU NEIL!!!!!!! For implying Ed was the reason New Orleans swept the team and for personally 'counceling' Ed to take the money from Brooklyn. Who the fuck does that!
FUCK YOU!!!!!!
Say what you want.....we are NOT better with him playing on another team.NO didn't say Ed Davis was the reason but a reason we struggled. On offense we'd be 4 on 5 with Ed on the floor. His only shot on offense is a dunk and teams key in on that especially during the playoffs.
Right now we're not that's for sure. But NO obviously feels like Collins and Biggie are ready to take over for Ed. There's a reason he drafted two PF's last year--he was planning on having to move on from Ed. Factor in the rumor that we were going after Boogie in a sign and trade and it makes sense why NO told Ed that the Brooklyn deal was his best bet for playing time/money.Say what you want.....we are NOT better with him playing on another team.
Man... you have set your expectation bar at a might low levelI can....I don't like it when during interviews he talks about his time with the Clippers...today he didn't do that...big improvement
That works:

Look at this young Steven A.

Yes, Pat was not very good and easily replaced. You say this like Pat was good... He's easily replaceable and Neil has done just that.
Lmao. How? So if a center can't shoot 3s, then it's like he's not on the floor? We got trapped on pick n rolls and didn't use other sets, so we settled for crappy jumpers that were bound to miss. The only reason those shots could be productive? Ed Davis. It's funny how now that he's gone, fans are saying he hurt us and wasn't important. What a joke. And now somehow Stauskas is the next J.J. Redick.NO didn't say Ed Davis was the reason but a reason we struggled. On offense we'd be 4 on 5 with Ed on the floor. CJ's chin is too round. Harris and Luda both have that pointy chin, same cheecks, same smile. That works:

Makes 0 sense. His only shot is a dunk? Ed had a knack of getting to the rim and getting his shot off at different angles, and was efficient as doing so.
Not every single player on the court has to be able to shoot jumpshots.
