Trading for Kevin Love feels like deciding to give up on both the present and the future...

Only if they foolishly trade simons, Collins,or little.

Bazemore, Little, Labissière and a first round pick for Love is what I heard on Serious XM NBA radio.

Trading for Kevin Love would be dumb. What would be the point? Bankrupt the franchise? Because it certainly would not make one bit of difference to our season. Love would just be another overpaid often injured dead weight, and sooner than later. Olshey ain't that dumb. This isn't going to happen.

Were not winning this year, but could next year.

Love is such a dumb trade to make. He doesnt help us win this year, and he gets injured so often he may not even be there next year.
I for one think Dame and CJ would welcome a player like KLove over another payer that needs to be developed.

Did i say I wanted another player to be developed?

No. I said i dont want a bad player that has an injury history on this team.

Fix the bot.
Love is an All Star and NBA Champion. His shooting, passing, rebounding, and experience would help us. Get Iggy too and we have shot at title this year.

Love, Iggy, Melo. Now we're starting to sound like the oldies-but-goodies team - when they can play and stay healthy. Cost us an arm and a leg and I'm not willing to mortgage the future or commit another boatload of cash (hampering future moves) on a talented-but-fragile player such as Love.

If he were cheap, sure, but not at his price tag.

I understand but what future moves? Like I said, it is hard for us to get stars to sign with us. We’re not getting Giannis, so why not trade for Love?

Hard to get stars to commit to Portland but this would give us three locked in for three years.
Your right add Nurkic and you have a big 4 locked up for the next 3 years. What other team in the NBA has that?
