Just a thought:

I don't know how much trouble it is, or if it's even worth it. But would there be a possibility of giving the game day thread a sticky, and then releasing the sticky after the game?

Dunno what's up with my video always being choppy --- so it's back to wheels and tone.

Never knew about this site for streams:

nba-stream.com

Watching a decent stream... turned off the sound and just listening to Wheels and Tone... It's far ahead of the game. lol.

Nice move by Wes to save a broken play

Wow, Lopez is awesome so far

establishing Lopez to start the game...

Lillard 3 pointers!

I don't know. I blame Friday night and Bones reruns on Channel 49. ;)

Awful energy. WTF, Portland. Why the hell aren't you people at the game?

Maybe everyone's watching Thor

The prices are getting a bit out of hand.

I'm not paying $15 for a worse seat than paying $0 to sit on my couch.

$15 is getting out of hand? At Laker games, an upper bowl seat can be over $100. In NYC, a 3D movie is $19. $15 is a deal for a basketball game. How much cheaper do you want to see a live sporting event?

People want the Blazers to get up for games against teams like the Kings but the fans won't do their part and get up for such games.

Wes shouldn't handle the ball on the break

It's my philosphy, mind you. If I can have a better experience paying $0 to watch it on my couch then paying $15 to be further away from the action (even though in the building) then I will. And I know i'm not alone in that.

I will, though, pay $40 for a lower bowl seat. The difference between 300 level and 200 level is light years. I actually feel like i'm at the game down there instead of just getting vertigo up there.

For a blazers/lakers game up here it's $60 for the last row in the arena... that's a joke. or, more of a joke, $200 for 200 level, $500 for middle of the road 100 level.

Also, I don't pay anything face value... I don't go to big movie theaters unless it's on the rare chance it's a great movie, then I use deals... no big stores, and if I do, I only get the cheapest stuff - clearance.

So many empty seats!

The third straight home game where there are MANY open seats.

Every section has a trickle of red seats. I can't remember the last time this happened this early in the season.

What could be the cause?

Timbers? That would be so sad.

Borderline playoff team? We're much improved from last year but the roster is still a ways away from competing with The powerhouses in the West. Basically Neil has the roster set up to keep our heads above water.

Re: So many empty seats!

Poor marketing and sales. Maybe the uber corporate shit left a bad taste in the mouf
