The season opener for the knicks has arrived and I'm really looking foward to tonight's game against the grizz. Let's Go Knicks! :dribble: 🪨
 
I feel ya man. We shold take this easily Gasol is not there so I expect Curry to play well.
 
Wow, this game has just been incredible since I started watching it with about four minutes to go in the fourth. Memphis rallies from 19 down, forces overtime, and now the game is in double-overtime. I'm just loving this game... this is what all games should be like on opening night!Now, hopefully the Knicks lose! :nasty:EDIT: Oh yeah, I've been very impressed with both Rudy Gay and especially Kyle Lowry tonight. Memphis will be scary once Gasol returns.
 
Knicks win by 1 in 3OT?Not a bad start honestly, shows them having more heart than many believe.
 
I jumped when it happened Crawford stole the ball with like 40 seconds left and Nate hustled. Frye played like sh*t. But give Q some credit he had about 30 something.
 
Man....despite our loss....man that was a great game for both of our teams. Both having some pressure on us. Eddy Curry, Richardson, Gay,Lowry, and Warrick all looked excellent. 3-OT is a great way to start off a season win or loss.
 
The Knicks should thank the referees for not calling that obvious travel on Quentin Richardson... 3 and a half steps? :no1:

I mean...the last 2 seconds.
 
damn. even when the knicks win people can't just give them props, they gotta say oh he travelled or he went over the back. how about both teams played a great hard fought basketball game? the grizz got away with stuff too. it's not easy being a ref. it's not easy trying to make those calls when the game is as tight as it is. q rich didn't travel either. he took two steps and went up for the shot.I think this win can shut up everyone who is against the knicks. I know they blew a big lead but they stayed strong in spite of all that. they lost three guys due to fouls in curry, marbury and stevie "franchise"

franchise? my ass this guy sucks. he was 0-6 with 2 points. you're garbage francis. crawford played good d down the stretch and he should start over francis. he didn't shoot well but he still had 21 points by getting to the line. good game by david lee and q rich. they came up with some big plays down the stretch.

I think you guys can make some noise but don't give me that. you guys made the playoffs last year. everyone wants the knicks to fail.
 
That makes two of us.....memphis is always the underdog every year...no matter what we did the year before.

the knicks will surprise some people this year, if I saw they will make legitimate playoff run people will say its only 1 win, or just laugh but this team has the talent just needs to learn to play together, I like what Isiah is doing tho.PS-how can u hate francis? did u watch the game? What did he do that annoyed you? I mean im gonna stop with it as I find it just straight up annoying as hell too when I write about him all the time. But I mean he played TEAM basketball he only took 6 shots thats not the Steve Francis I know but if he can avg 10/5/5 this year ill be happy as long as the team wins. I think hes matured enough to learn to play to win, just because Crawford puts up better #'s doesn't mean hes a better fit to start. Everytime he touched the ball it seemed like he was jacking it up, or doing that little runner shot and missing more than not. Sure the steal was clutch, but than again we shouldnt have been in that position to go into 1 overtime let alone 3.
 
I didn't see this game but I saw the highlights on ESPN. Seems like Jamal Crawford had plenty of chances to win the game.

By the 2-OT, the shooting wasnt that great.

I know francis is a good player and that's why I'm getting on him. he simply hasn't been getting it done since he's been here. wow he scores 39 points in a pre season game where no one played defense. if he can play a team game and not bi*ch then I want him to stay but if he's going to have games like last night I want his drunk ass outta here.
 
Good game overall. I know the Knicks had plenty of chances to win that game and should have probably won it earlier but hey, Knicks fans have to be happy with a win.
