You used too post quality post, everything that you post now is so negative...

im sorry, im just sick of krstic saying "Im almost there" time and time again and as soon as a game starts, it's "I need more time".
</div>
Actually he's never said he's "almost there" as in reference to being the same player he was before.
What he said was that he's "healthy". There's a big difference between the same player you were pre-ACL injury and not experiencing pain during the game.
Seriously though, can you mention ONE player who had a major surgery and came back successfully in mid-season? He was completely out of shape, didn't know Frank's failure of "motion offense" and hadn't played in a year.
We'll see what kind of player he really is around early December. He'll play for the National team, he'll come in a little exhausted into TC. He'll become familiar with NJ offense/defense and will get into "NBA Shape" during the training camp. After 5-10 games he should be the same player he was before injury, maybe a bit better because he actually worked out.
If he still sucks then, throw him under a bus.

actually, he had 3/4 of a year and an entire offseason to get prepared. before our first game of the year, he said he was ready and if you recall, against the bulls, he played good. 5/5, 12 pts. looked promising but he slowly regressed and did not get better at all. he took a couple of weeks off mid season to prepare and said he was ready but came back and provided nothing. really, are we going to bank on him turning back into shape? what sign of improvment has he shown?
as ive said before, id be perfectly fine letting him go and drafting kevin love who provides the same thing krstic does....and else. guys like krstic are a dime a dozen. if his jumper isnt falling, he provides nothing else, passing, rebounding, shotblocking, defense... all areas he's never been good at.
</div>
I'm not sure what you mean.
He didn't have an offseason to get prepared. The preseason game you referred to occurred in his 10th month back after surgery. A typical recovery takes between 12 and 18 months. Most players use off-season to relax and to get better. He spent it doing rehab for ACL. That's an exact opposite of relaxing and getting better.
He didn't take a couple of weeks off midseason. Nets sent him home for a couple of months because his conditioning was severely lacking. And as I said, he didn't say he was ready. He said that he'd like to play and that "he's 100% healthy". There's a difference between feeling 100% healthy and being ready to play in the NBA under his circumstances.
He's not supposed to show improvement at this point. As I said earlier, he came in knowing pretty much nothing about motion offense, having not played basketball since December of 2006 and in no physical or mental condition to play. Having a major injury does that to you.
Drafting in general is a question mark. If the Nets are actually able to move up in the draft, taking Kevin Love would be a mistake. If they don't move up, and actually draft Love and not trade him, that would mean that we're bringing the same team back as this year. And pretty much everyone wants a (near) major trade at this point. There's a good chance that the pick will be included in that trade (for Brand for example).
Regarding Kevin Love specifically, there's no proof that he'll be as good as Krstic. Krstic was projected to be an 18/8 player. He came close, posting 16.4/7 in 32 mins in 26 games he played that season. Kevin Love will come in as a rookie, prone to rookie mistakes and will end up in Frank's doghouse for at least a little bit.
I think that keeping Krstic for $5 for 2 years is a sound plan. If he actually comes back and plays great, we get an instant bargain big man. If he doesn't, there will be a team that will take a chance on him, and trading him wont be too difficult. Plus, his contract will run out during the LBJ sweepstakes.
