So the Californian Blazer fans are dead set against trading Aldridge. Got it.

We should have been shopping Aldridge for awhile now. I bet there's some good packages out there for him.

I disagree with shopping him but we should have done our due diligence on seeing what his value is, that and every other Blazer around.

I'm as big of an LMA fan as there is. I think he's so underrated by you bastards. But, unless there's a ridiculous plan to make us immediate contenders, you explore the opportunity to deal him. Seems like common sense, given age, contract, the rest of the roster, his refusal to be a C, etc. You have to explore it. Whether you like the rumored deals, that's your own opinion. As much as LA is awesome and my favorite player, if a deal of TT, Soup juggler, and #1 were offered, I'd have to really think about it. Even if you wanted to ten re-deal any parts, including the number one. Given current status, I'd like to think we'd come out ahead, especially in 2-3 years.

Probballdraft: LaMarcus Aldridge would like to be moved from multiple sources I have spoken with but Blazers will get a large sum for him.

LaMarcus for Kevin Love is a trade I could be down with.

Love is LAX bound, only a matter of time!

not sure who this guy is, but :

I'm not sure I'm up for that, but if you could get Noel (if rebuilding, why not), Pope and Dieng or Nog. You'd suck next year, but get another nice draft and clear a bunch of salary. Could be a really nice way to build up for a few years down the road.

Cavs don't have enough assets unless they are willing to part with Waiters in a deal.

Noel is an injury waiting to happen.

What about something like Vucevic, Jameer Nelson, Tobias Harris, and the #2 for Aldridge?

Sign Al Jefferson or Milsap to take Aldridge's place.

Lillard/Nelson
Oladipo/Matthews
Batum/Harris
Jefferson/Freeland
Vucevic/Leonard

That's a pretty good young team, with Jefferson and Nelson to provide some veteran scoring and leadership. Would Orlando go for it?

I'm not to keen on that trade, thats a trade I think we could do better then at the trade deadline or heading into next years draft. Setting my opinion on the trade aside I don't Orlando goes for it. Orlando, like PHX, have been pretty vocal on spending the next few years rebuilding through the draft.

You might be right. I'm just trying to think of teams that are trying to turn things around. I'd love to see the Blazers get a center and a wing in this trade, and then use their cap space to sign one of the many power forwards who will be available to replace Aldridge.

We need affalo back in any orlando trades

hoop fam

Afllalo would be redundant with Matthews and Oladipo. I'd rather have Harris to back up Batum, and Nelson to back up Lillard. I think Nelson could be a really nice spark off the bench. Oladipo and Vucevic would be a nice pair to get back for Aldridge. Then sign someone like Milsap or Jefferson to take over at power forward.

Jordan really wants a star player so he might bite on #4/MKG for LMA.

Too bad Len/Oladipo/McLemore will all probably be gone at that point.

One of them would most likely be there. If Noel doesn't go #1 reports are magic will jump all over him at 2.

I think Noel will be a bust. Just a gut feeling. I would like either Oladipo or McLemore.

I can get behind this. That's a 45 win team easily if healthy and with much room for improvement given the youth at PG/SG/C.

I don't think ORL will deal away the pick and Vucevic (AND HARRIS!) for LA even if we take back salary in return. They would be starting off with just LA. Maybe we throw in 10 and Leonard and they might bite, but still unlikely.

Anthony Bennett will be the best player from this draft. his height means nothing because he has great standing reach and wingspan. Will be a double double machine. Grandmama reincarnated

Syracuse players are always drafted too high.

I'm not doubting too hard, and I didn't see him play this year--what's the difference between him and 2009 Beasley, other than Beasley did better in college?
