Good Lord I never thought I'd see a day where @bodyman5000 and 1 was more emotionally mature than me. I AM SHOOK!
I don't even drink anymoreMore mature or more drunk?
Compared to younger me? Yes.So you're saying you're a
Cuck?![]()
He coming
That tweet has been taken down on LA's twitter site....what did it say?
so...done deal then! Lamarcus has been saying he'd like to come back for at least a year now.Dame tweeted he’d take Aldridge back out of everyone and aldridge replied with the eyes emoji
How would we get Aldridge back?
I’m still very very salty he left us hanging. Don’t know how I would feel him coming back to Portland.https://sports.vice.com/en_us/article/zmwdb3/lamarcus-aldridge-finally-opens-up
I know people still hate this guy but this is a pretty in depth article on Aldridge that shares some pretty interesting insights about him and Dame.
He sounds like he has a bit of regret about leaving but he regardless of what he says, he still comes off as insecure.
Dame had taken over the Blazers twitter yesterday and said that. Prolly can't do that from the main page-- hence the takedown.Dame tweeted he’d take Aldridge back out of everyone and aldridge replied with the eyes emoji

I’m just hurt badly by him hosing us. Almost unforgivable imo. Don’t worry, if he does come and helps us win, all is forgiven.I'm fine with it.
I think he'd be good as a third big behind Nurk/Collins. I'd rather have him than Whiteside. Now if he wants so many touches or guaranteed role then pass.
I think at this point he is over himself and knows he's past his prime. If he has a better chance to win on Dame's team than in SA he'd be up for it.
Lol that’s a good oneWith how aloof LMA is, he'd be the perfect teammate in this social distancing era. No one can get close to him!
I like the idea of Zach as our third big man, and he can come off the bench in a pinch. Nurk at his peak here still only played 29 mpg, and Aldridge in the low 30s the past few years. Plenty of minutes to go around for all three and good versatility of skillsets.Dame
CJ
Ariza
Aldridge
Nurkic
That’s a beautiful five. Making a trade might require a third team/gymnastics, but it’s a players league...they usually get what they want. Spurs should probably be looking to retool, while Portland needs to make a serious push while they have their best players locked up.
I will say this though, id probably wanna take a longer look at the Collins/PF experiment before pursuing Aldridge. We may get that chance once the season resumes, but I also wouldn’t mind waiting another season.
Is it bad that I totally forgot Ariza was still here?

I dunno if i'd do that.my assumption is Pop would want Collins in a hypothetical Aldridge trade.

gulp
At least with him, I doubt we'd see him walk in just a yr if we were to trade for him.If it came down to it I’d rather wait a year and sign him in free agency next year. He’ll be 36, maybe we can get him with the MLE.

i feel like pau extended his career by embracing becoming a center. not sure LA would do that, or would have to here.yeah he won’t walk again and I think his game is aging similarly to Gasol, who was an all star at 35 and an effective player through his age 37 season. I think aldridge has three more good seasons in him.
I'm fine with it.

Then no trade happens.my assumption is Pop would want Collins in a hypothetical Aldridge trade.
