mags has 3T and knows how to spend that 3T and he doesn't trust Bernie to spend 2.2T of his money.

So you finally fucking admit Bernie's plan SAVES money...

I'm done debating this issue with you bro...

So, healthcare isn't one of the things in the USA that you think is broken? We have to change everything, but let's keep healthcare the same?

That's nuts.

barfo
When your kids get sick from an airborne virus at school..it suddenly gets important

I have no problem paying whatever tax rate is for the greater need for my grandchildren's future..personally I have no debt...zero..no mortgage payment..no credit card. I think we have to tax consumption..if you can shop for luxury, you pay tax toward the greater need. I think the wage worker should get a break and the consumer with expendable income should balance it out when they buy a new car or guitar...tax me. I'll pay it within my ways and means. I save more money from my meager income than most people I know.
But it will not help! Healthcare does not generate more revenue for this country, because supposedly Bernie will save 800 bill of what has been taxable revenue. Meaning we lose GDP.

It doesn't save money!!!! Omg you are losing your mind! In order to generate that revenue, we are taxed more. Like 20% more

Also, mags won't look at any other source besides the ones he agrees with:

http://www.businessinsider.com/bernie-sanders-wsj-18-trillion

But the analysis has also been cited favorably by progressive advocates of a single-payer healthcare system, who note that Conyers' bill would purportedly save nearly $600 billion annually by eliminating administrative waste in the private-insurance industry and cutting prices of pharmaceutical medicine.

"In 2014, the savings would be enough to cover all 44 million uninsured and upgrade benefits for everyone else. No other plan can achieve this magnitude of savings on health care," Friedman wrote in his 2013 analysis.

The Washington Post's Paul Waldmanbacked up Sanders on some of his criticism. As Waldman pointed out, the US currently spends about $3 trillion a year — and will spend close to $42 trillion over the next decade — on healthcare. He argued that Sanders' proposal wouldn't add on to that total, but rather reallocate the way the US spends money on healthcare.

"By the logic of the scary $18 trillion number, you could take a candidate who has proposed nothing on health care, and say, 'So-and-so proposes spending $42 trillion on health care!' It would be accurate, but not particularly informative," Waldman wrote.
Read your link again. You keep posting this and it keeps proving my point that Bernie intends to tax us 2.2 trillion more dollars per year.

I'm done. You don't know what you're talking about and won't listen or read anything that I've posted to the contrary of your view. Bernie's plan saves money. And you have NO CLUE on how Single Payer works.

No it's 2.2 Trillion INSTEAD of the 3 Trillion we are currently spending... Now I'm done...

I do understand. I understand that you allow the government to tell you which hospital to go to, what medications you use, what doctor you see. They justify this by negotiating with the pharma companies, hospitals and suppliers on a discounted rate; but makes your decision for you.

Question... So let's say you have a rare disease that isn't normally covered by the federal healthcare? What do you do?

Yes, fuck you American. The government wants to make your decision for you. SMART.

You can't have it both ways. We are either spending 2.2 trillion more in taxes or not. Your argument shifts from spending 2.2 trillion more, to the government making your decisions for you. Pick a reason to be upset because it can't be both.

Okay fine... Let's say this passes. So where we get this money?

Then take in more revenue is the answer? So you support being taxed 40% GDP? That means you will pay more than 20%. The top 1% can't pay it all you know
When failed CEOs get 400 mil to leave their job, relief pitchers get 120 mil to throw a few pitches every few days or entertainers get 20 mil to make a movie of the week, yeah...I think a combination of the 1%who have almost all the wealth and professional athletes and entertainers probably could cover the bill tomorrow..but they may have to go to the Cayman's to get the money back here first.

Sigh.... See how you don't understand? There will no longer be an insurance premium.. How much are you paying for insurance monthly now?

Nothing has frivolously wasted more money than our federal government. And you trust them with 2.2 more trillion? Smart

$1,850 per month 8% of my GDP for a family of 7

Probably pay $2,200 per year for my copay

who said I fucking trust anybody..it's not about me and who I trust. I think the wealthiest elements of our society waste their fare share of the money...Warren Buffett agrees with me....he must be as dumb as you think I am dude

Your federal government is in charge of your healthcare. If you don't trust them then why support single payer

So you're the guy driving up the cost of insurance...that's blasphemy! I wondered who insurance companies actually get to pay those prices...now I know:)

2.2÷3= roughly 73%.

You mean to tell me you wouldn't rather spend $1350 more in tax and save an $500 per year in healthcare costs?
I would if I trusted my government enough to know what to do with it. We have over a 18 year record of our federal government wasting money and being way over budget. If a financial planner was giving me a net loss for my money, he would be fired

That's the thing. I can vote those motherfuckers out. I can't vote out Steven J. Helmsley the CEO of United Healthcare. He's a dictator so fuck him!

I don't trust German companies...won't drive a Porsche either
Ding ding ding!!!! You just proved how valuable free market is!!! You choose not to support either groups because you don't trust them. With single payer, you don't get to choose

Ding ding ding ding ding! We can fire the president after 4 years! Can we fire Stephen Helmsley?

Ah so you are for government speed? Like every 2-4 years instead of just canceling a policy and looking elsewhere? Smart...

Lol 4 years instead of 1 day. All I have to do is cancel my policy and find another the same day. You need to wait 2-4 years to cancel or change yours.

Look at the track record. Single payer works. It saves money and covers everyone.
