In that video it says he's going to Denvers camp. Either way, he looks detirmined.

He is always laughing (Cleaves), which isn`t a bad thing. I like Allen, he can shot and play the role player off the bench. Great signing by Thorn. See, even if he is a bad player, Jason Kidd will mkae him so much better. Just like Kidd did with Mikki Moore, he can do the same with Allen.

I hope Malik makes the team, being the 'Nova homer I am. Very nice guy. I actually had a Geography class with him.

Plus, he's married to a a girl who I graduated with... Kara Saylor, class of '98. 2 years older than him.

Here's a pic of her from my 'Nova yearbook, if anyone cares:

Maybe she should have married Scafidi. He's a doctor now and doing quite well.

Wow, no kidding. Do you know him, or did you just Google him?

That video was posted in June. The article on him being in Nets camp is two days old.

Agreed, but I'm certain Marcus will improve from last season. He just hit that rookie wall mid-season, and never recovered from it. Now that he has more a feel playing in NBA, so I don't expect it to happen, especially if he wants to make a name for himself.

Kidd does stun Williams' growth, but Marcus has the opportunity to see what it's really like to play the point guard position. To learn from one of the best, will only make him excel, so for his own sake, he better be taking notes.

Williams' summer performance was discouraging.

I don't think any one really takes summer league games serious. Often good players struggle, for example, Kevin Durant. However, Marcus Williams did finish with 16 ppg, 6.0 asts, 4.2 rebs. That, and 4.8 turnovers.

It was that his actions did not match his words in terms of taking defense seriously.

yeah, but you can't make judgements so quickly based on summer-league play. maybe marcus didn't really take summer league seriously...and maybe we should just wait till the season starts to judge marcus's defense. who knows, maybe it was just a summer league thing.

cpaw has strong beliefs about Marcus and his future.
