So, basically, you are talking out your ass..cool beans. Do as you wish, I just do not appreciate being called a liar, so if you can not refrain, just do not respond to my posts and i shall do the same in kind.

...aww, and now your precious message board persona's feelings are hurt...sorry, but you can "ignore" me if you choose but as for me, I will post as I see fit and to whom I see fit.

...deny it all you want but, (and I'm sure you will) but the majority of your "likes" seem to be directed at the Trump humpers ever since I started posting here.

yeah...the thing that is crazy, is that he would do less time (under guidelines) for murder.
He's probably destroyed multiple lives. Think of all the lives he may have cost the country of Ukraine. I'm having a hard time feeling sorry for him.

If he would only sincerely express regret I could get on board with a reduced sentence perhaps even releasing him while he is still alive.

NO ONE likes being called a liar and no one in here should call another a liar. I'm with you on this.

Wait a minute, he didn't call you a liar. He's saying there's a gross error in your post. That's different. If he had said you erred in your post and you knew it was wrong then he'd be calling you a liar. I did't see that.

...thank you, Lanny.

...BS, you're all over the place...you claim one thing then post something else...you'll claim victory regardless of the verdict...keep up the good work...I'm happy for you, no really.
...and fwiw, it's very common for people to be given "unsurvivorable" sentences.

Nope, it isn't.

I dont know, that is how I read it.

Generally the longer the deliberations go the better it is for the defense. We shall see.

Normally, yes, but in this case the evidence is just so so overwhelming.

I suspect that they're more interested in determining a sentence, if they have any say in the matter. After all, the rest of a man's life is at stake.

I know you to be honest. So, I'm gonna believe what you say.

There are few people that I disbelieve. Trump is one.

Perhaps my views on people are why I got taken for $20,000 by a building contractor, who, among other things, put on a new roof but didn't even nail it down. It got a little windy one day and my shingles started sliding off the roof. He did other work almost all of which had to be redone. The worst part is that my wife smelled a rat early on and I talked her out of it. OMG, since then I let her make the decisions except for my technical advice.

I cant even imagine how you could put on a roof like that...I take it we are talking three tab...jeesh.

Yeah, on the wife thing...whenever we have to get some bill in line or correct something, I let my bride do it...she does a far better job.

The judge sets the sentence, not the jury.

In this case, I'll take your word for it, but in some cases the jury either decides the sentence or assists in that decision.

Look, I know quite a bit about construction but at this stage my disability prevents me from walking on a lawn without assistance or in standing for more then a very short amount of time, perhaps five minutes. When I was a bit younger than you I could walk up a latter with a heavy flu liner on my shoulder without using my hands on the ladder. Even in my 50s I was bench pressing 260 lbs. and leg pressing 560 lbs. I worked out 5 days a week for 2 1/2 hours each day. It was a combined stretching, aerobics/cardio and strength regimen. Now, I can't go to the store without a wheel chair.

The son of a bitch took advantage of a seriously disabled combat Veteran. He died back East someplace according to sources. I'm guessing it had to do with a drug deal gone bad. He took a lot of people for a lot of money mostly in Seaside where my parents lived. My mother was one of his victims. I hope he rots in hell.

I used to know the building code very well. I knew the UBC, UPC, UMC, NEC and Cabo codes very well. Don't have either the eyesight nor the physical ability to keep up these days.

I was explaining to a low voltage electrician, who's gonna put in some LED lights along our walkway and aimed at our flagpole, where we currently use a solar light, how an LED works. I made one in college. I also explained how I wanted power run to our garage where I want a motion sensored light and how I need a motion sensor porch light fixture in place of our current fixture. The fixture work is really easy but I cannot get up even a step ladder nor can I operate a simple bladed screw driver in a slightly awkward position.

You'll never know how much I regret my disability.

Damn, I knew you have some challenges at this time, I will keep you in my prayers. At least the guy is no longer able to do that stuff to people.

His mom owns a prominent store in Seaside. Very nice lady. He also had a wife and small child, so, no, I'm not happy he's dead. However, it almost certainly saved a lot of other people some significant grief. Go to Gearhart Oregon and I can show you two houses where he bilked people. I'm sure there were others in Gearhart. He bilked people in Astoria, Warrenton and Longview, Washington as well as Portland and me in Aloha. He made numerous drug deals in Longview, Washington. I feel so sorry for his little boy.

I learned later that he was actually on parole from a federal prison, the one in Sheridan. His parole officer obviously knew little to nothing about what was going on with him.

It shows that the jury is going through each count, looking at the evidence, doing their due dilligence so when they come with the verdicts, people can't say they didn't, or that they are all snowflakes or orangenosers or whatever.

However it goes, people are going to be upset.

I count my lucky stars. Somehow by some miracle which I attribute to God, I have the best wife a man could ever hope for. We love each other to the bone. I don't need wealth, health or anything else. I only need her.

Then, you are blessed, my friend.

...yeah, I never really expected Manafort to be found guilty on all 18 counts...but the preponderance of evidence should easily put him away for a long time.
