Notice Matisse Thybulle came to Portland via the Josh Hart trade

Yes because his wife didn't live here with him since the Blazers wouldn't commit long term to him. Of course that was hard. If he had a long term commitment he'd have moved his wife to PDX and they'd have setup a home here for their family. Dude just wanted a place to settle down. Cronin and the Blazers weren't interested.
Re-read the quote I posted from Hart please. She was here. Life was hard on her here because she didn't like flying, and she was all the way out here away from friends and family. It wasn't hard because he was gone, he's an NBA player, she's used to that.
Here, I'll quote it again. You seemed to quote me on everything I posted n here, but failed to read any...

“Portland was good, but it was just so far and I’m not from the West Coast,” Hart recently told Andscape. “It was tough. Not on me, but more so on my wife because she’s not a huge fan of flying. So, she’s all the way in the Pacific Northwest, not really flying, just by herself. That was one of the things that was weighing on me a little bit, just seeing her struggle with that. So, me being gone but being close to home, it’s been great.

“I was superexcited about the trade. My first call was to my wife. Oh, man, she was excited. She was freaking out a little bit because obviously she’s got a doctor [in Portland], and everything is kind of situated. But once we got everything situated on that front, she was ecstatic.”

Now why in the fuck would she have a doctor in Portland if she didn't live here?

Really dude? He didn't say he was going to put all his chips in? To build around Dame?

Come on, Nathaniel. You know better.

Do better.

It's your prerogative to like the direction, but don't act like he didn't lie his ass off to Dame and the fanbase. Ric Bucher just said they also lied to Dame and the fans. Why are you challenging the facts?
He never said all his chips. He said he would push his chips in. Those are two different things.

Because nobody can prove that he lied.

Let’s see… the times I have truly dug in on a topic.

Me: LMA is going to leave so we should trade him.

Reality: LMA left and we should have traded him.

Me: Dame is saying if we use the pick he’s gonna request a trade. Or at least have a conversation about leaving the team.

Reality: Blazers used the pick and Dame demanded a trade.

Me: Thybulle was part of the Hart trade.

Reality: Thybulle was part of the Hart trade.

:dunno:
Bro, you need to step away. Leave the basement for a tick.
You just quoted yourself multiple times to create an I told you so post?
Holy shit. And they say I’M the one who is destroying this place?

At the same time, this is like the 4th or 5th time I've read you referencing someone saying you're destroying this place. Leave the basement for a tick, perhaps?

Every post is uniquely different. Including the LMA, Dame, and Thybulle points/postings. I never said any of them were exactly the same, nor would I.

I understand why you would want to downplay the one you were way off base on though. That was kinda my point.
Yes but I was being called out for hammering on certain topics over and over. So I cited the greatest hits. Posting something once is not really hammering, is it? I’m wrong about shit all the time. But I don’t really dig in on those topics, or do you disagree? Did I dig in and hammer on that team being the worst blazer team of all time?

I’m at work. I’m told on here how much I ruin this place. Just saying.

Nobody cares about you bro. I blocked you years ago and while I miss your posts of other peoples cars and your shoes or whatever else you like to post, I have somehow survived.

So I guess you get a podcast around here and then become an ass to everybody or is it just magnified? Carry on oh great basketball expert.
SideNote: It cracks me up that grown “men” on here have to block people. It just makes no sense to me.
Like I said, Sorry I make your experience here block worthy. Imagine if I posted like YOU.

You don't tank when your franchise player is in his prime. What has Cronin done that actually required brain power that resulted in something good other than Jerami Grant which Dame put together? Anyone can tank. But not everyone lies to their franchise player about what they'll do once they tank.
You do when he misses a year and change for core surgery or when most of the starting lineup is actually injured and you're forced to play 3rd stringers. Tanking didn't happen in a vacuum...it really happened organically. We didn't start the season thinking we'd suck at the break after Winslow and Nurk went down. We didn't expect Payton to be in endless rehab either.

This place is more pleasant for me without you or Eric. If I make this place unpleasant for anyone they are free to block me. It won’t hurt my feelings.

Eh why? Guys with core surgery come back fine.

Maybe the GM should have created some depth in the event of an injury or two? You know, what every other NBA team goes through.

Maybe the GM should have done his due diligence regarding Payton so we could have signed Bruce Brown instead? We still don't have answers on what Cronin knew and when regarding GP2's injuries.

Because nobody can prove that he lied.

I'm talking to you like a human. I don't know why you're giving me defense attorney vibes.

Use the power of deductive reasoning. If you can't do that, maybe try joining Qanon. Their followers also suspend the power of deductive reasoning.

He never said all his chips. He said he would push his chips in. Those are two different things.

"You know, we’re trying to build, this isn’t a win-now roster as far as, we haven’t pushed in all of our chips yet. We weren’t signing players based on position over talent. We’ve been choosing talent over need, basically throughout this whole process.”

“We knew there’d be some positional redundancies and some positional holes and we’re OK working through that because we’re trying to build our talent base, trying to build this culture we’ve been talking about. And also we haven’t pushed all of our chips in as far as, we haven’t made a big move yet, like using future draft capital or anything like that.” - Sell-Low Joe Cronin

Two of too many instances. But, go on...

I disagree. In my opinion, you did dig in on it.

I understand you are unlikely to agree; that's ok.

Okay I guess Joe said all of his chips. I was wrong.

We better go tell him he has to trade Shaedon. He doesn’t want to be a liar. All of his chips mean all of his chips. Time to send out Shae, Scoot, Nurk, Ant and anyone else we can send out to get Dame some veterans. Time to go all in baby! Maybe we can still convince Dame to stay.

apparently, the mythology of Cronin trading away Hart is a facts-free zone
