Which do you think there are more of? ;)
It's not an old man's game. I'm about as old as they get and honestly I'm retiring this year. At least I hope so.
That's another question though. Right now there is a huge push to get women into iron because it's been a man's trade forever. The thing is Women really don't want to do it. It really is very hard and beats you up like no other trade out there. They usually get a year or two and ask themselves why? They can do other trades and make nearly as much and not hurt every day.

Kon Kanipple (that’s how I’m gonna spell it) sure looks like the second coming of Pat Connaughton.

Honestly can't watch my team lose night after night.

We have been losing because our players are injured. When healthy we are a playoff team

We are much better for sure...Playoff team?
With all the tanking going on the last several years its hard to really know if these injuries, some legit we all know, and some intermittent, if we are in a passive tank even at this point.

Turnovers! They should be like fouls! Get 6 and your night is over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Free throws missed! When we make a free throw it feels like Rupert drained a 3 pt shot!!!!

I was sure this thread would take off again as the coaching carousel starts to spin.

While it may not seem like it I think the team is showing signs of being a good team as early as next year.

Things you want to see from young teams
1. Be in most games with lots of close losses
2. Start seeing younger guys develop and make jumps to next level. Deni and Clingan definitely have, Sharpe has had his moments I think some of his poor play can be contributed to injuries but also having to be more of a primary ball handler since we have no active PG’s. I was wondering why he hasn’t been starting and I think it’s because they need a primary ball handler on 2nd unit. Turnovers still major issue for both Sharpe and Deni because they have to play some point.
3. Find an identity, early in year when we were healthy it was defense. I think we know how we want to play but with injuries we haven’t been able to
4. Offensively find a rythym and find your go to guys at end of games. Stilll working on this but so far looks to be Deni, Sharpe and Jrue when healthy.
5. Beat some of the elite teams and play competitively with them 90% of the time which I think we’ve done.

If we we were healthier I think we’d be 3-5 wins better. That gets us back to .500 I think we are on a similar path to how Detroit has gone last couple of years.

Be interesting to see how Scoot plays he’s a huge wild card for us.

Yeah I think Sharpe needs a quality PG besides him at all times. Looking forward to him and Scoot getting a good number of games played between them.

I don't care what the fuck we do but we need to do something right fucking now. I it's going after Giannis and foolishly trying to mortgage our future for a chance at an unlikely title run next season, so be it.

I love some of our young guys but so many of them just check out way too much. So if we trade them all, I can't say that today in this state of meltdown that I'll be any more upset than I currently am.

If we aren't going all in to win it all next season then we need to trade away the vets and fire Tiago to send a message to our young squad that this isn't acceptable.

So fucking frustrating!!!

If I was crazy for posting that Shaedon deserved the lion's share of blame for the game getting away from us in the second half tonight, then suggesting we mortgage the farm for an older, worse version of a team that finished fifth in the East and lost in the first round of the playoffs last year merits a trip to Arkham Asylum, too.

Like I've said before, this team was not made to make the playoffs this year, regardless of what the team might have said publicly. Look at what the team did, not what was said. You don't sign a player who won't play the entire year and draft a lottery ticket and trade for a future draft pick if your goal is to get out of the lottery this year.

A kneejerk move because we stunk up the place tonight would be ill-advised. That's how you go from spending five years in the lottery to 10.

That's why this shit is in the meltdown thread. Sorry again for being so aggressive in the game thread. Cheers!

You got to admit that team simply stunk the place up tonight though.
Are they really trying to win this year?
