Merged: |0fficial| Trade Deadline

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

Granted, DMC also likes to play in this range, buuuuut...

I'm sure stotts can figure something out. It's really no different than with Aldridge or dirk when it comes to the other 4 guys on the court.

I bet PHX is ready to give up Tyson Chandler for next to nothing. He's still putting up 7pts, 13 rebs, with good defense nightly.

I'm ready for the McCollum cousins trade. Improves our perimeter defense with Crabbe in the lineup and cousins gives us easy buckets down low.
I still think that if you trade for Cousins your going to have to take Gay as well. The Kings aren't just going to trade Cousins.

I don't hate chandler but I'd rather have someone that can be here for awhile and grow with dame and co

Ben Simmons keeps suggesting C.J. McCollum for Blake Griffin.

Don't the Clippers have the best record in the NBA? ( I assume their point differential is pretty good too) So I doubt they want to trade him right now.

But I'm sure they'd love to trade one of the best PFs in the game in order to add CJ alongside CP3, Redick, Rivers, and Crawford while playing Bass at PF.

Leonard and pick to WAS for Gortat?
With the draft being the only thing Neil is truly great at, I wouldn't include picks for a player on the wrong side of 30. We need to keep all our picks unless we're trading for a really good player in their early/mid-20s.

Ya I didn't realize Marcin was 32.

Maybe Enes Kanter. He's a terrific rebounder even if his rim protection sucks. And given enough PT, I'm sure he can manage 15 ppg easily. He'd be our consistent third leading scorer.

Despite his defense I'd be more willing to make that trade. Still not entirely sold. If we strike out elsewhere (Crabbe/Noel/Okafor, Package/DMC, etc) then I might pull the trigger.
BTW, whatever happened to Larry Sanders? There was talk he was thinking of coming back the NBA - I'm assuming that didn't happen.

maybe we can get baby sabas thrown in on the deal too. I say that only from a "it would be cool to have sabas around again" mind path. has he played much/looked good/ok so far at all?

Klay has played in 64 playoff games at the age of 25 with one championship and two finals appearances. Reggie did not make it out of the first round till he was 28.

Klay has plenty of time for heroics and is worlds better on defense.

None of which would've happened with him as the #1.

There is nobody in the west as good as the Bad Boys Pistons or the Jordan Bulls. He seems to be neglecting that information.

Crabbe and Noah for Brook Lopez
Gerald Henderson and Nerlens for Evan Turner and a 1st

Lillard
CJ
Moe / Henderson
Nerlens / Meyers
Lopez / Plum

We can't trade Crabbe to BRK until next summer. They signed him to an offer sheet and we matched.

PHI won't take Turner back. They drafted him too high, lived to regret it and gave up on him. They're not going to give up two useful players for someone they gave up on previously.

So, neither of those trades are happening.

I would take him in a heartbeat

At worse he's a nice temporary center till we find a more permanent one

My ideal scenario:

Trade Meyers and either Plumlee or Davis. Don't really care what we get back. Maybe a shooter. Just want to clear the clutter and open up playing time for Vonleh. He needs to be given a real chance. I really think we would regret it if we ended up dealing him.

Trade Crabbe for Noel.

All of you clamoring for old ass Tyson Chandler must've forgot when he was THROWN OUT of a game here for slapping down on Joel Przybilla's broken hand.... :dunno:

FUCK HIM.

How does that happen with the poison pill provision in C.J.'s contract?

I can't figure out a single trade with SAC involving C.J. that works within the CBA. Hell, due to C.J.'s poison pill provision, I can't even come up with a 3-team trade involving PHI with their shitload of cap space. The PPP was intended to make it hard to trade players you extended before their extensions kick in and it works like it's supposed to.

I think to make it work you have to have a lot of salaries going in both directions. Like 20M or more each way :)

EDIT: I don't propose this trade. I was just using player salaries to make a deal that fit.

There is no way I'd trade Embiid unless a superstar was coming back, if I were Philly.

I edited my post.

I wasn't suggesting that trade, just showing that you need $20M and $18M in contracts to make a trade with CJ work.

Rumor has it that Andre Drummond is unhappy in Detroit.

Link, or it didn't happen.

And, if he is "unhappy", he's going to be "unhappy" for at least two more months. He signed an extension and is BYC and can't be traded until January 15.
