Meyers makes essentially the same as Harkless.Washington need bench players badly. Unfortunately their cap situation will not allow them to absorb Meyers contract so easily. Maybe Harkless for a pick and an expiring?
Toronto makes a big move to help their playoff push. Now am curious to see if Boston, Cleveland, and Washington, the other top 3 teams in the east, will match? And how can we help? Because he is cheap, I doubt we do anything with him, but Aminu would be a good addition off the bench for Cleveland and Washington, I would think.
If you watch Noah closely for about 10 mins of court time, you know the guy has 0 bball instincts. He kills us on the floor. It's 4 on 5 on both ends. And on defense. I noticed several times last night in the first quarter when Meyers was forced to leave his man to pick up a driving guard, no one (coughVonlehcough) rotated to help on defense.
Yeah but I mean take both of them and send back something valuable. Meyers is more like a liability here, their favor towards us would be the pick plus taking Meyers, for which we would give them Harkless.Meyers makes essentially the same as Harkless.
this is a boring trade deadline so far. not just for the Blazers, but for the entire NBA.
Aminu would look great on the Spurs. Give us SloMo back and I'm happy.Aminu would have more value to a legit playoff team than to Portland at this point. He's got a valuable contract as well, so Olshey should definitely explore his market. Harkless isn't as good, but I'd rather ride with him going forward because he's younger.
with 9 days left I think its off to a good start, most stuff happens in last few daysthis is a boring trade deadline so far. not just for the Blazers, but for the entire NBA.
Now Charlotte has totally imploded, I wonder if they'd consider swapping Crabbe for MKG (plus Sessions, to make the salaries match).
That would hurt us shooting-wise but improve our defense considerably.

Some in Toronto would jump on this trade in a heartbeat.
Especially with Joseph+powell+carrol on the roster.
I'm hoping that is not true. If Chicago is going for a complete re-build, they won't want any 26 year old players.New Orleans would just love to trade possibly the most versatile and talented player in the league for two overpaid players, a role player and a filler (so 4 players out of which 0 will improve them) plus three late picks. Such an amazing deal.
At least include Dame or CJ in these fairy tale potential trade. Same goes for Cousins and Butler. We HAVE TO include CJ to land a player of this calibre.
Damn, big time move for the Raptors. This makes them a serious contender. Look for ibaka to have a role similar to that in OKC with Russ and KD.Ibaka to the raptors for TRoss and a 2017 1st
The one thing I don't hear; not even the slightest hint that the might be going for the home run ball. Maybe I have over-estimated Olshey; maybe i really do think bigger than him!http://rip.city/2kNzrQk
Sounds like we might be shedding some contracts here soon. I could see us using one of those firsts to attach to someone like Meyers.
Vonleh picked up 6 fouls in 14 minutes. It wasn't Stotts that limited his playing time, it was those pesky rules.
BNM
Good effort then. Still don't like Stotts idea for rotation.
I don't expect a ton from Vonleh, but I do think they should play him more.
They're called growing pains. If they're serious about developing Vonleh, they will play him through it.
We don't really have much to offer for Drummond but he would be perfect here. New Orleans should explore that with their first round pick.
