Why? I mean that seriously, what did I miss. I didn't catch Miller's interview, something he said indicates KP is gone.

All I heard from the interview is a GM who has been humbled. He didn't like the Penn move. He pouted. Then he came to his senses and gave an interview he had to give to save his job.

So what did I miss?

I'm just reading from the tone and what he said. What person do you know when asked if they expected to be fired in the summer would pause, take a deep breath, then say "I don't know"? Sounds to me like someone that thinks there's a good chance he's gone.

Why? He wasn't "dragged" into anything, obviously. This rift didn't just happen out of the blue, and the fact that the Blazers tried to smear Penn by saying he lied about a Minnesota offer, and then never acknowledging that they were not telling the truth, confirms it in my mind.

A power play is going on right now in this organization. Paul Allen needs to step up and tell those assholes in Seattle to go play golf or something.

Unfortunately...and I hate to say it...Paul IS one of those assholes from Seattle...that's what's so disturbing....

It was in MIXUM'S thread. One of the local writers wrote something about it. Not sure if it's accurate or not, but why would Camby want to deal with Paul Allen and his drama queens for the last year or two of his career?

Yes, Pritchard gets the benefit of PA buying up draft picks...but he's also at a large disadvantage when trying to sign high profile free agents because they don't want to come here...they want to go to NY, LA, etc.

He's done a great job within the interesting confines/advantages that the Blazers offer.
