Yea well I am hoping that complete picture isn't that the Portland managements true goal was to just get fans back in the seats and make the franchise a money maker again. Because that is what it looks like right now.

Steve Francis is a big time talent, Frye's future is bright, and we get a draft pick. We got a GREAT deal!

Oh wait, we're cutting Francis but will still be paying him for years. No problem, Frye will be really awesome and we have that draft pick, and some cap space in the future. We got a GREAT deal!

Oh wait, we picked a guy who can't come over because of contract issues. No problem, Frye will be awesome. We got a GREAT deal!

Oh wait, Frye sucks and we're renouncing him? No problem, we got Rudy to come over, and we should have some awesome cap space. We got a GREAT deal!

Sir, I've seen the "Big Picture" and it isn't pretty. Hopefully, KP will redeem himself by Pritchslapping someone, and making this mess make sense. If so, I'll sing his praises. But until he does, he's Pritchslapped himself as far as I am concerned.

Then we should have taken assets that have trade value. Even if we didn't plan to keep him, I would have taken Dejuan Blair at 31 or 33, let him tear up the summer league and then traded him for something of value (or more likely, kept him).

We took Claver way too high. Pendergraf does nothing for me. He didn't exactly put up huge numbers as a 4-year college player. DraftExpress had Blair as the 3rd ranked PF and Pendergraph as the 7th. Sounds about right to me. They had Cunnigham as the 14th ranked PF and 52nd ranked prospect in this draft. He's another 4-year player who didn't exactly set the NCAA on fire. Blair, as a sophomore, put up better number than both of these seniors.

Actually, though I feel bad for myself, I really feel bad for those "scrubs" who we drafted but will not make our team. Basically, they got an invite to summer league - good luck to them.

Tell that to KP, who spoke like Mills, Pendergraph and Cunningham will all be on the roster next season. He likes all of them and they were the players he targeted going into the day.

Nate likes the players also. He saw plenty of Pendergraph considering Nate's son plays for Arizona St.

The Blazers had a good draft. Don't get upset just because you don't know anything about them.

Pendergraph will most like be the backup 4. The Blazers think he can play right away and provide good defense.

Idk who will be the starter between Webster and Batum, and whoever isn't the starter, will be the backup most likely. Let's say Batum is the starter again.

Travis has done good things for us.

We knew we could get our guys late in the draft.

All three of these new players will make an impact.

I thought only management can paint that picture for us. Since you know, can you let us all in?

Seems like a rationale approach is to wait to see what the team looks like after the trade/free agent dust settles.
