So, who is your starting SG, then? Are you still banking on getting Delfino back? I like Delfino's energy and defense, but he's not exactly starting SG material (he's only started 6 games in his 4-year NBA career and 4 of those were as a rookie). He'd be great to have to shore up your bench, but I actually think Jack would be a better starting 2 than Delfino. Jack is a better shooter and a better passer.
The problem is adding both Jack and Hedo to your starting line-up would making your starting unit very turnover prone (Hedo averaged 2.6 TO/G last season and Jack averaged 2.2 - which is actually an improvement for him given the minutes he played). Adding those two your starters would averaged about 10 TO/G. You'd have kind of a high risk/high reward starting 5 - several guys who can make great passes, but also turn the ball over a lot as a result of trying to force things that aren't there.
Actually, if you can figure out a way to get a starting caliber SG AND get Deflino back AND get Jack, I think a second unit backcourt of Jack and Delfino would be pretty good. Problem is, that would take three transactions. Do you guys have Delfino's Bird Rights? If so, you can sign him with no cap restrictions, but that leaves only the MLA and bi-annual exception to sign both Jack and a starting SG. You MIGHT be able to get one of the two with the MLE, but I don't see getting Jack (Jack is an RFA and Indiana would match) or a decent starting SG for the bi-annual exception.
