Better than the the losers they did select...

How many franchise players did they select tonight?

Oh that's right? NONE....

That's your opinion and you have every right to it, but can you not even entertain the possibility that you could be wrong and one or both of them will end up living up to their selections?

Olshey said he asked Lillard that if they picked him @ 6, who woould he want at 11.

Lillard’s response was Leonard.

bwuhhhhhhh?

Hmmm ... well ... 🤷

Don't quite know what to say to that.

ineptitude in its finest form......

I'll say this Lillard has a chance...a slim chance of meeting the expectations of a #6 pick...

Leonard? Has ZERO chance....

Leonard? Has ZERO chance....

Leonard played PG his frosh year in HS! Then grew 5 inches in a couple years (still growing in fact). Not your typical white stiff. In fact, even Dwight Jaynes the most cynical man in Portland said after watching lots of film on Leonard that he's very promising. For an 11th pick in the Draft, he absolutely has a chance of meeting expectation. And let's not forget, he played in the Big Ten, the toughest conference in the NCAA. Has had a rough life, brother in Afghanistan. You gotta think he's a tough and determined young man, maybe even a leader from what I've heard. Will pair well with LMA down the road. Solid Pick.

OK sure thing... whatever you say

If he has hands, and can block shots, that's all the skill we need at 7'1" 250

Look I'm on definitely on the skeptical side of the ledger regarding Leonard, but I'll give the kid a couple of years to see if he can figure it out. What else is there to do? No big name free agent center is about to enter stage left and save the day, somebody is going to have to emerge from within. Hopefully it's this guy.

I think the "BPA" thing, which is relatively new, is a byproduct of so many fans playing fantasy basketball.

The phrase has been widely used since before the 1972 draft. The acronym is brand new, a byproduct of too many people typing out their profound thoughts.

My article said that all he did was crack jokes. I can't respect a guy like that.

What made this draft seem unimpressive was the lack of Pritchard tricks. We'd be in awe of Olshey if he'd traded 6 and 11 for 2, then decided to trade down 2 for 11 and 13, then traded 13 and Aldridge for 6 in a blinding display of genius.

If that was actually a factor in the selection, then I'm officially frightened. ;)

Well Leonard wasn't a #6 pick, so.....

He is a fucking sissy boy who cried on his coaches shoulder many a game and won't get the same "love & tenderness" in the NBA.....

Oh, and he has very little ACTUAL bball skill....

Link?

lol...typical bullshit retort by Zagsfan....

It is true....
