The best thing about Jrue is the Blazers owe him nothing (loyalty wise) and he and his dumbass agent haven't put out there that he only wants to play for 1 team.

If I'm Boston, I'd throw the boat at the Blazers (tho honestly, don't know what they have that is of value or assets)

I am listening to @BonesJones and @hoopsjock and they just floated a three team deal, I didn't love that sends Jrue to Philly and Harden to Miami... that wasn't the shitty part. The shitty part was that we only got draft assets in that trade from Miami. I think Jrue is a better fit for the Sixers and they should have to give up something and Miami should give up more than one FRP and a couple swaps because they would only send us Lowry's expiring.

Yeah they'd have to send Lowry and Jaquez... at that point one future first and a swap or two would be enough from them but I would need the Sixers to give up their 2029 or 30 FRP because at this point Jrue is a better player than Harden and as far as a winning player he's been a better winner for a long time.

I would just ask for Herro and the 2 unprotected 1sts. Herro can at least be flipped to the Jazz or somewhere for a young guy and a 1st. I like Jovic more than Jaquez, but I’m not in love with him either. At least by flipping Herro to another team, we might see a young guy we like more than Jovic or Jaquez.

We tossed out a ton of hypotheticals. It was unprotected 2029 1st and then the right to swap our POR/MIL 2028/2030 picks with Miami.

I am hopeful that we can get back two 1sts. But if not that seemed like something comparable.

That would be great, but I'd be slightly surprised if they traded Herro and 2 1sts for Jrue. This would be the best case scenario though for sure.

Lowry and Jaquez get it done, it's not an exact match but it makes it work even with them being over the apron. In that case I would think Jaquez, a FRP, and a swap would be good from them as long as Philly sees Jrue as a value add over Harden to the point where they send another FRP.
