Helfrich simply isn't on the same level as Chip. The play calling is sub-par. When a team takes away the run, we just collapse.

The defense isn't surprising. We've lost so many good players on our defense over the last couple years. We're finally starting to see the aftermath of that. The biggest problem though is that we aren't getting any pressure on the QB. He has all day. I'm just really unimpressed with Armstead after all that hype coming out of high school.

In prior years we had a defense that could keep us in games when the offense was struggling, but this we don't have that luxury. Looks like no Natty for us this year...

The offense hasn't really played great this game. Other than a couple big plays, overall they've struggled. They don't look like the same team we saw last week.
 
We've ran 24 total plays. 10 are passing and 14 are running.

I don't think that Scott Frost is a good play caller (As stated before this game and not off the cuff). He calls a play but has no flow to the play calling.

Mariota is playing to conservatively.

It opens up the ability to make adjustments in the second half.

Can someone please send Coach Frost a text and let him know that we do have a position called Tight-Ends.... You've heard of them right? Evan Balis, Jonny Mundt, and Pharaoh Brown?

Well, we had a 1st round talent at TE for a few years that we rarely used.
 
I hate these announcers, shut up with the Walt Frazier references....body blows...we get it...shut up.
