Israel is going to enter Rafal, and take out the terrorist. But...

They are now developing plans to remove the civilians, without letting the terrorists out. That is why it is taking so long for them to enter Rafal. Israel is doing everything it can to minimize the killing of innocent woman and children.

So stop the bullshit and G lies.

Each person in this thread should honestly state whether he's Jewish. Motives for rationalizing the century-long slaughter/torture would become crystal clear, instead of only pretty clear, like now.

Most Jews I've known are very nice. Some of the leading pro-Palestinian groups have names like "Jews for Palestinians."

The word Zionist means evangelical/imperialist, as in, spread power over the world. Same as Southern Methodists. Hamas extremists are a reaction to Zionist extremists, who have been killing for a century to chase their childish fantasy of a 1-religion nation.

And to be clear, I understand why Israel would be angry and hurt over the attacks they've endured. But they have to see that was an inevitably if their policy.

I'm not saying Israel or Jews are evil or worse than or on the same level as Hamas. I'm simply advocating for more humane and effective solutions.

Having a rough morning. Much I could add to our discussion. But will say for now. Israel is not being treated fairly by the news. The agenda is to report in a way to make Israel look bad. And leave out all of the good things they do to reduce civilian casualties.

Will try to post more on this later.

I'm sorry you're having a tough morning. I hope it turns around for you.

I 100% believe that Israel is not being treated fairly by the news. The thing is, Israel is the powerful nation. They will look like the bully. History will see them as the bully. And the news will sell that story.

This is why they can't succeed by force the way they appear to be trying to do.

They can succeed by humanitarian action. I sincerely hope that they can dispose of their warlord leader and replace him with somebody who understands this.

If the Palestinians, and the countries helping to fund Hamas, had listened to this gentleman two years ago. We would have peace in Gaza today. He nailed it.

 
Hamas and Hezbollah have been firing missiles into Israel for years thinking they could get away with it. Don lose site that both expect Israel to be demolished always have and always will. Egypt is more concerned with security issues and allow those fanatical factions to come in and disrupt the peace they've been able to achieve through the region.

He's mostly right, as far as I am aware, but nobody is defending Hamas. The majority of Palestinians have wanted rid of Hamas for years. They just haven't been able to make it happen.

Pretty much everyone acknowledges and deems Hamas responsible for their actions.

You lost me at the two last paragraphs. I 10,000% disagree with all of it. But I am whiling to give you a chance.

I will listen. Give an example where this plan has worked? I can only think of many where it turned into a disaster.

Jimmy Carter has said that Hamas is not the roadblock, but Netanyahu and the Israeli regime is. They don't want peace. But I guess he's also antisemitic?
 
It has been reported that Israel has monetarily supported Hamas.

Israel needs Hamas as a scapegoat for Israel's apartheid on the Palestinian people. Plain and simple.

This situation is unique... however, genocide doesn't generally "work". It "worked" here in the US. It "worked" in Australia.

Nation building worked in Japan, Germany, etc. Gaza is already decimated like Japan and Germany were (it didn't have very far to fall). What is needed is improved living conditions and care. The rest will come in time. It will come faster if Israel can find the strength to be gracious and actually help the people of Gaza.
