Ah, I might be the only person who likes Bill Walton as a commentator! He was actually one of my favorites. But he got a lot of hate.Bill Walton, Clyde Drexler and Terry Porter coming.

I'd like Thompson, he was the TV or Radio color commentator for a bit years ago, and was really good. You're right, it still doesn't make sense. This is a total head scratchier unless they have some really big names willing to come in, like Mychal Thompson or some other big name former player.
Did I miss something? Why is the talk centered around Wheels being by himself? How do you know they won't replace Tone with another color guy?![]()
He was no Pat Lafferty, that's for sure. And I hated Pat Lafferty.
Sorry mb. Youre too talented not to move and catch on with another nba team.Deleted MB tweet.

After a steak dinner, and a margarita... This has really hit me, I was angry earlier. Now I'm just depressed... The Mikes are all I know as a Blazer fan. So many memories with them on the call.
Shit dude, I'm still in denial. After a steak dinner, and a margarita... This has really hit me, I was angry earlier. Now I'm just depressed... The Mikes are all I know as a Blazer fan. So many memories with them on the call.
I know a couple handfuls of seattle nba fans. They still follow okc from afar (even though they are still fucking pissed about it) but most of them just became "nba" fans. They dont give a shit about the blazers and still talk mad shit about them.
I'm willing to bet (not literally Kingspeeed) that the Blazers "Corporate jersey sponsor" is going to be a Seattle Company.
If the Blazers front office had a problem with commemorating two beloved, long time announcers then fuck them. Not so sure the Blazers front office would think very highly of that but I'm sure the fans would.
BoeingStarbucks?
Starbucks?
Coffee People?Starbucks?
I just hope the replacements are known, high energy, and fun to listen to (aka homerish).Shit dude, I'm still in denial.
WTF just happened?? Did it happen?!? Is this real life!?!?!?!
Paul Allen does have a good relationship with the Nordstrom brothers.Starbucks, Amazon, Microsoft, Boeing, Nordstrom who the hell knows. The Nordstrom dude tried to bring a team back to Seattle, might be saving a place in line if Allen sells the team in the future.
Sure. If the goal is to appeal to the California transplants, and turn their back on the life-long Blazers fans, it's possible McGowen is well on his way to accomplishing that.Maybe we are the ones who are out of touch... Maybe the larger percentage of the fan base is tired of the old ways that we love.
I don't think the NBA will allow that. Maybe Portlands largest dispensary?adidas
McGowan mis-pronounced "sycophants".First comment, "I speak to enough fans to know that there's some confusion..."
Sure you do, Chris.
