I have a feeling they are going to come up with something that's not an animal.

Probably something more esoteric, or I don't want to say nebulous, but something less tangible than animals and fairy tale creatures.

Something water or river related would be something to think about.

OTOH: They are going to need to grow their fan base, which I would think would include a heavy dose of appealing to children to both get their parents out to the park and to develop them as future ticket holders.

For marketing, how might they perhaps compete with or interest young fans of computer/on-line/video games?
