Bottom line is these are both very good teams. We need to play our best to beat either. There is no "easier" team really.

This game is almost identical to our game last night. Only difference is 2-0 tonight and it was 1-1 in our game. Outside of that same game really. Total domination in the 3rd by the Pens/Bruins because us/Montreal played prevent.

You know the rangers would never get that call like the habs just did. Don't want to complain about the refs but one thing is for sure the habs will get calls especially in that stupid building of theirs.

And there it is. So we get Montreal. I am "happy" about that. I do think we matchup better against them. We beat them this season. We lost a game in OT at Montreal this season. I think we really do have a better shot against the Habs and the skill/speed is a better matchup for us.

If we/Hank can get playing at Montreal out of our heads, we will be okay I think.

And BTW...this is why the NHL playoffs are the best. The Bruins were a HUGE fav in the East, and they played the one team that I think could really beat them in the East due to the huge rivalry, and they got beat. That stuff happens in the NHL, which makes it awesome.

If the Ducks get there over the Kings that is cool, but I bet the NHL would love LA to round out the CF's.

Tough series, but Pitt was a good warmup for Montreal. Similar teams. No Crosby/Malkin for Montreal. Much better goalie for Montreal.

Interesting stuff. We can win this series. I think Montreal will be the fav, but I don't see them as a big fav like I do think Boston would have been going in. Close...

Like I said earlier...if it wasn't for our Montreal issues (and Hank's Montreal issues) I would really be all over us in this series. That city is not kind to us though.

I dont think montreal should be considered a favorite. They only had 4 more points than us. The teams are pretty even. It will be a toss up.
