Yeah, a few strip clubs on Canyon. woo woo

I've finally figured out who El Pres is:

I figured it was a joke, knowing you, it just didn't seem like something that would be funny.
What do you meannnn? That was hilarious. "Is Beaverton a town"? That's a top notch joke! You don't understand real humor, like "FAMS" and "airports" and shit. You need a funny-bone replacement.

Somebody want to explain to the new guy?

Suburbanites are notoriously short-tempered and humorless...I'm convinced it's the 15 minute wait at the traffic lights, or the finding parking at the strip malls, or all the driving, or all the chain stores, or all the fast food, or...

Exactly. I guess when the library, the police station and a yarn store all look just like a Panda Express it makes them numb inside.

Oh you’re back? I forgot you still have problems with me huh? Like your missing friend who seems to have quit our forum after attacking me with long drawn out private messages over and over and over. Thought you had moved passed me.

The HCP has had beef with the suburbs for years on here is all. If it’s not within Portland’s city limits he doesn’t deal with it.

I live in Oregon City, which is the oldest incorporated city west of the Rocky Mountains. So, technically, Stumptown is a suburb of Oregon City. Just sayin’ FAMS!

At airport flying to Portland this morning. Going to look at apartment and car. Then back to NYC tomorrow and back to Portland on October 9th. Looking forward to hanging out you guys who live in Portland.
Have you heard of twitch live?

I’ve lived in the ‘burbs for the past 32 years and seriously resented having to leave Portland for at least 20 of those years. Having grown up in SEP I thought Portland was the be all and end all. But what a difference maturity makes. My wife and I go to Portland all the time because that’s where the decent restaurants are. But it isn’t worth it anymore. The traffic has gotten exponentially worse in just the past 4-5 years (there’s no longer any real “good” time to drive in anymore), parking has gotten ridiculous and is only going to get worse, the city is a filthy, homeless ridden mess and Portlanders in general have forgotten what civil behavior is. And let’s don’t even talk about Portland’s dysfunctional and schizophrenic....and at least borderline communist......city government. Literally every time we get back to our “bland” little town we breathe a sigh of relief. It’s clean and well kept, most everything is newer, we have the best of pretty much everything (parks, library, schools, streets, water, etc, etc, etc), and property values, while high, are nowhere near as overblown and stupid as in Portland. In other words, we find it far more livable and stress free than we ever did when living in Portland. The Portland that was is gone and those living in the current Portland can have it.

I’ll take my inner city neighborhood over your hillbilly trailer park any day FAMS!

Its that everything is so convenient, clean and at our fingertips, the slightest variance will be a glitch in the Matrix.

C’mon recent ‘burb transplant! Back me up! Of course that assumes you’ve been able to find your way out of that faceless suburban neighborhood........

He cries into his pillow longing for the days he had the privilege of parallel parking.

As I said, what a difference maturity makes........and don’t hate me because I’m an SEP OG. We ate you NEP pussies for breakfast......

Listen here homie. You come up to NE Fremont street in the Beaumont district this evening for a stroll and tell me my neighborhood isn’t amazing. No strip malls here son.
