Been listening to the shit out of this George Duke jam for the past few weeks. It's ridiculous infectious.

Holy shitballs, didn't know they had a new album. You're right, very wiseblood-esque (also America's Volume Dealer-esque). Thanks!

I take it your a Down fan as well. Nola simply one of the greatest hard rock albums ever made. The swamp riffs on that album could tear down entire mountains!

I stumbled on the Wilson Pickett gem written by Bobby Womack....enjoy

Yes sir. Swamp riffs is a great description! Geez, me and some old stoner buddies used to listen to Hail the Leaf endlessly in all it's bong-solo glory.

Another AC/DC fan eh. Check this out. In some of their songs it sounds like Bon Scott.

Yeah. The voice is similar. Bon was more than just a singer though. He molded the attitude of what ACDC was all about. He was also a great lyricist and a total character in the first degree. I don't think they really ever replaced him.

I agree, Bon Scott was great. Back in Black was a good album and was a good introduction for Brian Johnson but they just never regained the same edge they had in the early years with Scott.
