Been listening to a lot of Hendrix and Ten Years After with Alvin Lee. Ten Years After was probably one of the best live concerts I had been to as his fingers are amazingly fast. Hendrix just makes some incredible sounds with his guitar.

I like "I'd Love to Change the World", one of my all time favorites. Smoked many a joint listening to that.

So how great was Ronnie James Dio? Listen to this 1977 live version of "Kill The King" by Rainbow. It's one of the greatest live performances ever caught on tape.

Anyone ever heard and listened to Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush. Killer guitar player in the mold of Hendrix.

Another favorite group from my high school days. I actually had a custom 67 Ford Van with custom paint work and a mural of the album cover painted on the back. It placed 2nd and 3rd respectively in 2 custom truck and van shows at the Portland Exposition Center and the Memorial Coliseum.

The famous scene in Spinal Tap where Nigel Tufnel is picking up radio signals on an air force base supposedly happened to Uriah Heep when they played Seattle. One of my favorite rock stories of all time. Love the song Easy Livin' by the way.

Yeah, I saw Heep in concert at the old Paramount downtown. Great concert

This is one of my favorite Richard Thompson songs. A loose, dance hall shuffle about having a good time. Credit to Linda Thompson for her matchless vocals.

To me there were three men who could sing a love song like no one else.... Sam Cooke, Don Williams and Willy DeVille.
