I had the great opportunity to see Boz at the Ryman. He's not just Lowdown fame to me. This particular arrangement and venue sends me a bit...



Oh, and speaking of Lowdown, here's Boz with a couple of other old farts (Michael McDonald and Donald Fagen) known as The Dukes of September. Boz can actually still carry a tune. ;)

Boz Skags, initially with the Steve Miller Band. "Livin in the USA and the yellow album Seasons 1968!. These are albums all Skags and Miller fans should use as a bible. I always liked the song "Motherless Children" too.
 
If you had seen car commercials, you probably heard this The singer and pianist is seven year old Sugar Chili Robinson, not a Be Bop female singer in the 1940's.

You've got your Chicago, and you've got your Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass, Still, you've got your Al Hirt, Miles, Davis, and Tower of Power. Shoot, you've even got your Rick Braun and Chris Botti.

Then, you've got your Blood, Sweat, and Tears......at Woodstock, no less!

At one time Blood, Sweat and Tears was my favorite group.

The original is way better. TOP and SF 49ers players participated. Huey Lewis should be the one to sing "Hip to Be Square" IMO. I saw them in the 80's and the band is Mighty!

This band and TOP was and still is EPIC, my @Sly Poker Dog friend. The 49'ers featured Will Clark who made "the Catch" against the Cowboys as the lead vocalist.
 
GWJ (R.I.P.) was one of the early pioneers and innovators of the smooth jazz genre. This is one of my faves....

I did. To me, it seemed not connected as Metalica is a completely opposite rock genre and decade with vocalist accents different rather than the essence of HL &the News. I admit it. I'm biased. You the Dog! Chaos.gif
