Marv Ross, from the Old Band Quaterflash & Seafood Mama

This is a solo song by Marv now 70.

I Won't Sing Here Anymore
Thank You, loved it.
About 45 years ago Seafood Mama played at Frankenstein's on Front as I recall. My buddy and I fresh out of college went there to enjoy some music and shoot some pool. We were buying beer by the pitcher. Somehow, we got into a beer fight and we were running around the joint throwing beer on each other and laughing our asses off. Our antics repeatedly took us by the stage where the band was playing. The next day after I sobered up, I felt like an ass. Not my first and not my last time I've felt like an ass for something stupid I've done.
By the way, their music was damn good that Saturday night.

My wife and I sure do miss their annual Christmas shows at the Aladdin. Some years they were the only thing that kept the Christmas spirit lit. Portland (and Oregon) is lucky to have the Rosses as part of our culture.

Went to see these guys in concert tonight (Nashville). Care to venture a guess who they are?

Luvs me some Herbie Hancock. Also love this take on his 1964 tune....

I love this unusual Christmas song. It is a bit on the sad side though.
