One of the best Ringo songs, for whatever that's worth. Apparently he was between labels and could only officially release the album in Canada and Germany. The Dylan track was released out of spite by a scorned record label in the early 70s.

Dude if you would like to track this to some drums and add a bass, id be more than happy to hook you up. I've found myself with some downtime lately and in my studio every day. I really like your raspy voice!

That would be fun! One day I might take you up on that. Thanks alot! Visit my youttube channel and have a look around, I have about 80 some songs on there now and a few dozen are originals. It's just an archive. I have considered loading some finished songs that have arrangements on there as well but so far have just picked up a guitar and open miked it with the phone. I'd be happy to collaborate with you on the song if you'd like to play around with it.

What is your youtube channel?

I could tell it was just an open mic. :)

Would love to track officially and get you a nice clear sound. :)

Without trying to brag, because there are a ton of good studios out there, im pretty legit running some elite stuff. Neve 1073, APi, Drawmer preamps, some seriously nice mics, etc. Plus I could give you a pick of some nice guitars to track with(not saying yours isnt nice. :)

Click on the Watch on YouTube bar on the vido abovee and when you get there you can click on my icon and it'll take you there...I'll post a link. @gregmock6808 then click on videos to see all my content. You can just search Greg Mock and it'll take you there too.

I just discovered Duke Levine and this cover of Neil Young's ballad just had me floating away. Great duet.
 
I learned this from Rod Stewart's first solo record Just called The Rod Stewart Album..with Ronnie Wood ..it was either the album before his big hit Every Picture Tells a Story.or the one right after it...I forget..later I heard various bluegrass groups do it as it's a really old 1913 folk song..
