I can't pull the plug on my Kitchen Aid stand mixer so I can attach the meat grinder. Seems to be really really stuck.
Any useful thoughts.

Yes but I can't get the plug out so I can attach the meat grinder to the mixer. I'm thinking maybe penetrating oil.

That's what she said.

Sorry! Couldn't resist.

Next time use the meat stroker attachment! I use a small clamp to free things that stuck Lanny...works pretty well with jar lids that will bruise your palms trying to open. A clamp with a bar you can grip...not a C clamp...use the bar as leverage and you can open almost any thing stuck shut..standard metal wood clamp should do the trick

I have same setup. Could it be cross threaded? Try whacking a few times, not kidding. Let me look at my machine and see if I get inspiration.
You can also cut up meat, freeze 15 minutes, and put in food processor.

My mind is way too far in the gutter for this thread. Sorry.

Put a very hot and wet towel around it so the aluminum heats up and expands.

Download the GRINDR app. Lots of good tips and people who can help you get your meat grinder unstuck. They will link you up with nearby experts, some may even be your neighbors.
I did. All I could find was that KitchenAid recommends using a hot damp towel to wrap around stuck parts to enlarge the aluminum housing and free up the stuck part.

I tried that per KitchenAid's recommendation for freeing up stuck parts.
