Damn, we are really doom. No Paul George

Hey, if we "got" the Pels pick, we would just lose it again when they move up in the lottery.

.... and i get side-eyed for still wearing my mask when out and about.

ugh screw you, universe.

And screw this Play-in bullshit. Makes sense in theory, but completely minimizes the regular season.

Clips finished 6(!) games ahead of NO but might lose out on a spot now because their best player got Covid before a single elimination game. I think they need to implement some sort of trigger for a play-in only if the 9 and 10 seeds are somewhat close to the 7/8 seeds. If they're more than a few games apart in the reg. season, there shouldn't be a play-in.

I don’t even understand how covid is even still a thing. I bet Paul George doesn’t even feel anything

All eyes on Portland. You know the Jerami Grant trade is contingent on this game.

This is so Blazers. Why Cronin didn't have contingencies built in like getting the Lakers pick that is owed to NOP if they didn't get the Pels pick is staggering. Pels sure put a lot of contingencies on the picks.
cuz he's a novice and can't negotiate for shit. i hope to GOD we hire someone to either oversee him, or replace him before we make our summer moves.

So it's Joe's fault that Paul George is in H&S protocols?

This is like saying it's not his fault that he bet it all on a flush but the other guy had a full house. It was still gambling and he never should have negotiated a trade that required luck to come into play.

I really don’t understand how covid is still a thing
why? multiple cities have seen peak infections yet again and hardly anyone is wearing masks anymore.

And booster hesitancy can't be higher (based on my anecdotal evidence anyway) while immunity is wearing off.

I have a Hawaii vacay coming up in two weeks and I ain't taking a single chance between now and then. Too many people taking too many risks, this is bound to happen.

As far as I understood the current state of Covid in the NBA, testing only occurred when players were symptomatic. I wonder who else is infected from both LA and Minny.
