An extremely important game, worthy of a thread in the TrailBlazers S2 forum.
The entire hopes, plans, and future of the Portland TrailBlazers ride on this one game.
If LA somehow loses, the Blazers will be destined to flounder in the cellar for decades possibly prompting an team relocation to Seattle, BECAUSE OF THE LOSS OF A POSSIBLE LOTTO PICK!
The outcome of this one "play-in" game holds the entire legacy of Lillard, Billups, and Cronin, since a Clippers loss defines their incompetence.
Or so I've been led to believe.

One game to rule them all, One game to find them,One game to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.

I totally expect the Pels to win, they are on a roll.

Y'all should set up a watch party somewhere.

"Former Blazers Norman Powell, Nic Batum, Rodney Hood, and Robert Covington will face off against Former Blazers CJ McCollum, Larry Nance Jr, and Tony Snell"

I don't know how you'd go about researching it, but is that some sort of record? Most former players of a team (not involved) playing each other?

Of course, play-in games account for nothing statistically, so you could look at it as, once the game is over, it never happened.

I bet you 4 guys who started the season as teammates matching up in a win or go home in the post season (either a 9/10 game in the play in, a second play in game or game seven in the playoffs) has either never happened or is extremely rare.

Definitely extremely rare, if it's ever happened. I imagine it would go way back to the days of not many teams in the league, and players being exchanged more easily. A few multi-player trades (were those a thing before '80s?) would rapidly change the landscape of rosters.

WUT?

Pels recent record:

and the Clippers, since PG13 returned:

the Pels had gone 5-5 over their last 10, and the 5 wins had come against the Lakers (twice), Blazers (twice), & Kings. All three terrible teams

since PG13 came back, the Clips had won 6 of 7 and 4 of their wins had come against Utah, Milwaukee, New Orleans (by 19), and Phoenix. I'd say the Clippers are 'rolling' more than the Pels

Does Baby Dame retract his Clippers hatred for this game?

On the other hand, so are the Clippers since George came back. 6 of 7 to end the season.
The Pels lost 3 of 5 to end the season.

I think it comes down to where the game is being played. The Pelican fans were a factor last night. The Clipper fans will provide the same kind of energy tomorrow. They are not like Laker fans.

Today is both Good Friday and Passover.
We shall see which one it is for the Blazers later today. It'll be one or the other.

Should the Clippers mark above their locker room door with lambs blood?

the way LA crumbled after KAT got in foul trouble in that Minny game worries me.

You know Chauncey has called Lue about tonights game.

Watch out how our own pick ends up at 8th or 9th cause the basketball gods hate us
