CJ was a terrible fit next to Dame, that didn't mean that we should have settled for so little value for him, trying to make this roster make more sense.

I never hated CJ but even I knew he could never have synergy with Dame. What i hate is the return we got for him. The fact that the major part of the return is contingent on San Antonio or the Clips beating them in a single elimination game is worrisome.

Will you still love it in the 4th qtr of a close game when he goes all MeJ with the dribble dribble dribble dribble nice move.dribble dribble shoot and miss?
His game is cooking now, so it is easy to forget the wasted possessions.
Maybe he has changed, but it isn't hard to imagine a wide open Brandon Ingram watching helplessly as CJ milks the clock for his shot.
I dunno. He is a gifted shooter/player, and I am happy for him that he has an expanded role with the Pels.
