Nuggets has one all star.

I find it amusing I don't see Blazer fans drooling after any Nuggets player in acquisition discussions. I'm sure there's a few here and there but in general, no one is saying, "Let's get KCP, let's get Bruce Brown, let's get MPJ. . . "

Because they’re not available.

Exactly. A few wanted Gordon, but even more, did not like him at all.

Jamal Murray is pretty fucking good. But Jokic is arguably the best player in basketball right now. He’s LeBron at center.

I've heard a lot of people wanting Bruce Brown now and back to when he was on the Nets.

The Nuggets just seem extremely unlikely to trade anybody when they're likely to be the champs. Plus their star is such a huge key to their success. The other rotation players while fine players don't seem like they elevate that team on their own and likewise wouldn't make a large difference to the Blazers.

I was hoping the Blazers would get Brown before he went to Denver.

Not sure how a true basketball fan can miss watching Jokic.

All those year of watching a selfish ball hog Kobe, but you don't want to watch the most skilled big man since Bill Walton?
I probably watched 70 Denver games this season.

I sure wanted Gordon instead of RoCo. Honestly think they tried to get him but just didn't land him so RoCo was the second choice. Don't think that was on Olshey. Just think Gordon and possibly his agent made that decision.
Obviously I cannot confirm that. Just what I read.

RoCo was added in offseason. Gordon was on the block at the deadline. We chose Powell instead.

"Portland and Orlando were "at the finish line" for a deal surrounding Aaron Gordon last offseason before the Magic backed out. The Blazers used a similar package, two first-round picks, to land Robert Covington instead."

This is what I'm referring to. Not the actual deal.
Yes i know they went with Norm. The point was they had been working to get him for a while.

So why would you watch so many irrelevant regular season games but not the NBA finals?
Miami is unbelievably boring to watch. Didn't watch one of their games this season, past 5 seasons to be honest. Nothing against Denver. I would have been all over it had Boston or Milwaukee made it.

Strus went 0-10,
Blazers might be able to get him cheap this summer.

I have been watching a few Denver games this season and my first thought was missing out on Gordon hurt the Blazers. Not only was he a position of need, but a style of need. Tuff, defensive baller, but it is hard being a #2 man to Dame. His game doesn't exactly cause players to run to play beside him. I know it is Portland...

He sure seems like the perfect complimentary piece. Lots of hustle and not afraid of the dirty work.

How times have changed . For the better regarding banning cancer sticks in public places. As an asthmatic just the contact of that smoke causes my lungs to start seizing up. My buddy just got new neighbors in Colorado. They're chain smokers and the smoke is coming in their house. He loves to have the clean air circulate his home, but now that's not a possibility. It's affecting their new baby & him healthwise. He can't move because it's too expensive. So he must now look at building a potential tall fence with ivy (ivy is good for filtering cigarette smoke) to help block it. Put rubber & spider plants in his house, and seal the windows. I used to deliver to construction sites and have to ask dudes to put out their heaters or deliver the heavy windows out of my truck themselves. The majority of smokers i've come into contact with give zero fucks. Back in the day even family members didn't get it. I can't believe players played in those environments.

Heat in 7 is more likely than Denver in 4.
Incorrect, I checked the betting odds yesterday and Nuggets in 4 was lower odds (more likely) than Heat in 7 at betonline

Now that Nuggets are winning by double digits it will be even more so.

Been so busy with life that this is the first half of NBA playoffs I’ve watched this year.

For some reason I’m inclined to root for the Heat
