Yeah, but isn't the size advantage really only Jokic? I mean Gordon is a 6'8" PF with a 7' wing. At 235 he probably possesses the perfect size for a PF these days, but nothing that special. Porter has good size for an SF, but he has not been much of a factor (1-7 last night with 7 boards) Jokic of course is a huge difference-maker. He and Murray control the whole game.

Denver is bigger at just about every position.

Denver
6-11
6-10
6-8
6-4
6-5

Miami
6-9
6-8
6-7
6-3
6-5

So you think the extra 1 inch is a difference maker? I say it is all Jokic and Murray.

The heat shot 31% from three? Here is the other side. The Nuggets shot 5-18 28% from three.

This shows me that if the Heat can't make open looks they cannot beat the size and physicality of the Nuggets. The Nuggets will eventually wear this team down.

50% shooting isn't sustainable, but Miami has elite shooters all over the floor and won't be in the low 30s often. I expect it'll be an every other game thing for them, with enough hot shooting and defense to make it a 6- or 7-game series.

It's widely known that drafting 3-and-D guys is worse than a shot in the dark. Best bet is finding them as 2nd rounders or UDFA's. Miami seemingly has the NBA cheat code and has figured out how to identify a roster full of them. Their talent level seems way low for the NBA Finals, but there's no real weak link in their lineup to expose.

Very competitive game but anytime the Heat have made it close the Nuggets have gone on a run. If the Heat lose this game, I don't see them beating the Nuggets 3 straight (2 in Denver) to come back and win this championship.

This has never really been close. Denver in total control.

Now that the playoffs are over the only thing for basketball fans to pay attention to is the draft in 13 days.

happy for the Nugz and hope they close it out! Repressent the NW division!

Good for the NW Division. Would also be happy to see Rick Adelman's son David get a ring. He is will spoken of and will likely be up for head coaching jobs in the near future. Nice to see Rick get the Lifetime Achievement award, although sad to hear his health is quite poor. A tremendous coach and it would be nice to have a ring in the family.

Watching Aaron Gordon play defense is just amazing. Hands always up and always moving his feet. Jimmy has nothing to show. Should be a 4 game sweep if Denver did not slept on game 2 fourth qtr.

I don't see a guy coming back from injury (most likely too soon) being enough to make up the difference between what we've been seeing and the Heat winning this game. I guess we'll see soon enough though. Denver is an 8 point favorite tonight. Vegas has the Nuggets between a -335 and -355 favorite on the money line which means they project them as having better than a three to one chance to win tonight.

Zeller getting 4th quarter minutes in a do or die finals game is a bold decision

Had Boston finished off Miami in Game 7, everyone would be so high on Butler and down on Bam. I'm guessing after the finals, some will overreact in the other direction.

This may be the case with other guys coming off exceptionally good or bad series. Buy low, sell high!
