Game Thread NBA Playoffs Thread - 2023 CHAMPIONSHIP! Nuggets vs Heat!

Had Boston finished off Miami in Game 7, everyone would be so high on Butler and down on Bam. I'm guessing after the finals, some will overreact in the other direction.

This may be the case with other guys coming off exceptionally good or bad series. Buy low, sell high!

Jimmy coming on strong!

So fucking jealous.

Felt the same way when Giannis and the Bucks did it too.

Why cant we have this once? Just once.

Pretty good run by both teams. You gotta hand it to Miami that was an improbable playoff run.
Denver was a dominant team this year. Jokic is making a legacy for himself and it’s great to be able to witness.

Denver and the west were so much better. I thought this might be a sweep but 4-1 is still pretty dominant.

I wonder how the Lakers/Suns would've faired against Miami?

If Milwaukee was healthy and playing at their peak I think they could've competed against any west team. But Philly/Miami/Boston all just seem to be pretenders.

Congrats to Nuggets and Jokic.

Do the Suns feel any better now winning two games against the Nuggets?

TWolves 1 win
Lakers 0 wins
Heat 1 win

Question is who is Dame's Jokic?

I’m happy for them. They got their first and I’m hoping our guys will be hungry for our second next year.

A reporter asked Jokic about the Parade on Thursday . He said "Parade", " I want to go home". I do hope he stays. When The Broncos won their 1st it was amazing. We lined the route down 17th street to Broadway. Then went to the City and County Building, where an estimated crowd of 1 million people gathered. It was completely packed from the County Building to the State Capital. A sea of humanity. I will never forget it. I never got down to Downtown Portland in '77. I watched the game, but was new to the team. Jokic should not miss this celebration. It will be a rewarding one for him.
