Got a post-graduation family Hawaii trip planned for mid-June; not sure if it's gonna happen.

Can you buy tickets now for next year? Betting the Airlines would want the business and the prices would be really good.

betting now on which airlines are still in business next year can be handled at the DOW JONES site. Seriously, there is bound to be a fair amount of consolidation within the industry. recessions seem to lead to greater consolidations of wealth for the most part, fewer choices for the consumer, and poorer customer service for the most part also. probably should take anything that smells of a rant to the OT section but would like to point out that the airlines were especially egregious in the stock buy back purchasing sector with the windfall they received when the Tax and Jobs Act was passed. Not sure how i feel about the industry's likely bailouts coming soon.

Delta isn't going anywhere as well as United. But yes probably a few might fold. I'm thinking Southwest will be fine also.
