I would. Warriors not playing in front of fans wasn’t really the NBAs decision.
for like 50 more people? would this be difficult at the blazers' pf?Security?
Omaha and Kansas City have great arenas.I think the league is taking this very seriously, even if Oregon's government officials are still too mired in politics and political correctness to do much yet. According to ESPN, the NBA is considering moving games to arenas in areas where the virus isn't widespread yet. That could mean playing at the opponent's arena or a neutral site. Although Memphis hasn't had many cases yet, there likely wouldn't be time to move the game from Moda by tomorrow night. I guess we'll see soon what the league does, but I'm just saying it wouldn't surprise me to see an empty arena.
I have heard nothing and know nothing...... but I’m thinking nobody will be there for Nurks return.
What a disaster.I wonder if they will be refunding the ticket holders?
So......CBA experts, help me on this:
if the NBA dramatically curtails attendance at games and in the playoffs or if they even cancel some games....will that mean that next season's salary cap be dramatically reduced as well?
and what I'm also wondering: the CDC is saying it will be 12-18 months before a vaccine is widely available. There are already predictions that the spread of the virus could wane in the summer, but come back big time in the fall and winter....does that mean the NBA might cancel next season as well?
Get ready to hear "Force Majeure" and any insurance policy claims being denied.So......
I just read that the NBA last season had 25.1% of it's BRI from gate revenues. It's been trending down (was at 37% in 2004) but it's still significant. I'm unclear if the NBA has any protection against having to refund tickets or anything like.
Hopefully most of the other NBA teams don't follow this.
How sad would it be for Nurk if his 'return game' on Sunday is without fans....
Unfortunate, but there are bigger fish to fry. Nurk will play in front of fans plenty of times in the upcoming season.Hopefully most of the other NBA teams don't follow this.

That really stinks man!I have tickets to all 3 Blazers games Sunday through Thursday and my daughter has her high school state dance competition at the MC on Friday.
The game on Tuesday my son is an honorary captain and would likely get to meet Dame. He'd be devastated if it didn't happen.
This sucks.

Nope--just bird sounds like with the Masters.I assume they will still be on TV? Will they pump in fake crowd noise?
