Why? Simons is garbage and the most overrated Blazer in yearsdamn, there are some decent small salary players changing teams. Like to see the Blazers in on it but in this case, either of those players would have challenged Simons for playing time and we can't have that
Yeah, the hope is that they're searching for another 1st to use in the Kennard trade and still have one. One first seems like not quite enough and two 1sts seems like too much.I don't see Phoenix doing this
It's really depressing seeing all these teams making moves and improve and y'all know Neil is not gonna do anything because he's to scared to make a risk
Not exactly free, we'd have to waive or find a place for Caleb/Mario/etc to open up a spot ourselves.I'll take Jonah Bolden for free, thanks Philly!
I'd also take Zhaire Smith.
We just tell the true that nobody want's to hearyou & Neil oshyster should get a room and make some even more annoying Neil hating babies
We just tell the true that nobody want's to hear
Swept by the Warriors again?Every damn year you say the same crap. Remember last year and the result after yet another deadline with bad management?

Neil's still building though the draft when Dame's turning 30. What a waste!
Would you do Nurk for Love?

What risk are you talking about? It's really depressing seeing all these teams making moves and improve and y'all know Neil is not gonna do anything because he's to scared to make a risk
He's the only one. On the Blazers you have almost half the team.
He made a trade already. I have lots of complaints with NO but the last year theyve almost completely reshaped the roster, and they were active last year at the deadline and this year theyve made a move too. No exec of any business is going to take “risk” just for the sake taking risk. I dont think we can accuse NO of not doing anything the last year. It's really depressing seeing all these teams making moves and improve and y'all know Neil is not gonna do anything because he's to scared to make a risk
He has taken a huge risk when other teams wouldn't with signing Melo.He made a trade already. I mean, I'm hoping for the big splashy trade as well, because they're fun, but 100% this. Not only did he just make a trade 2 weeks ago, he took the roster of a WCF team and turned over half of it this offseason and he gets accused of sitting on his hands doing nothing. Take issues with the actual moves, fine. But to yell about inactivity is asinine. He could have said hey, we were in WCF, we're gonna take another run at it all with this crew.He made a trade already. Well at the time I don't know if that was a huge risk, they had like a month or so to try him out before they had to really commit. It does seem like he took quite a few risks last summer though, since they made the WCF's and then pivoted on literally about half of the roster (even if most of it was role players and such). I get that the risk people want him to take is trading CJ for 4 McChickens and a small order of fries but that's much easier for us fans to talk about then it is for an exec to do, because the "risk" is closer to Orange than Green on the risk meter. He has taken a huge risk when other teams wouldn't with signing Melo.
I don’t think you can use the excuse “just for the sake of taking a risk” after 8 years! At some point you have to take your chance and Neil is afraid... that’s why this team will remain in purgatory. He made a trade already. He took a risk by not Trading LMA, he took a crap ton of risks in 2016 (we don't need to rehash all that), almost every action and non-action in business has risk involved. He does take risks. He might not be taking the "risk" you want him too, but your narrative from a business sense is not factual. The risk you want is trading CJ, but you have no idea if that's on the table, what his trade value actually is.I don’t think you can use the excuse “just for the sake of taking a risk” after 8 years! You are obviously happy with mediocrity... that was a cute little run we had lat year before getting swept by Warriors again. Probably the worst thing that could’ve happened to this franchise because it temporarily covered the flaws of this roster. Blazers will never get near that success again in Dames prime if Neil wastes Whiteside expiring contract. He will not re sign here to be a backup to a player he is arguably better than. Also, the Warriors will be back next season, and with a top 5 pick to trade. Also no exec is successful for long taking Orange / Red risks over and over. You basically get one shot if it works you keep your job if it doesn't you lose it. If no trade or orange / red move is available that he thinks would work out, it would be pretty stupid for him to do it.
