Burke’s assist percentage would rank him second on the team. He can also shoot it pretty decently from outside.
 
So assuming we are at full health by next month...

CJ / Trent
Ariza / Hezonja
Melo / Collins
Whiteside/ Nurk

That gonna be the 10 man lineup till the playoffs.

Don’t think Little is gonna get shit with Stotts when the bigs come back. He’s gonna want Hezonja over him because of ball handling (it’s asinine but it’s Stotts MO)

Lol no way. He’s been playing over Hezonja. Even Gabriel has. Hezonja is literally the last guy on the bench.
 
Overall this is about what I expected, especially from the Blazer side of things. Not really upset, not really happy. Love the trade deadline though so much player movement.

Yes Simons needs some DNP-CD for the way hes playing the last couple months. He’s trash. Reggie jackson would be my choice he’s been a starter for a long time now
 
Another bonus for Burke: he played in the Mavericks system last year, which is pretty similar to Portlands.
 
This what expect Olshey wants to see want the team looks like when everyone is healthy and then this summer he will decide where he wants to take with this team. He probably did try to get rid Mario and swanigan he didn't have any takers.
 
Why do players feel this way? I mean, give me millions and I can play anywhere and they can trade me everyday.

Burke would be a worthwhile addition. Seems like a good fit in playing style. We could use a guy who can run an offense. Honestly, he's better than Napier who at least was passable. Not as good as Seth, but not totally out of that ballpark, either.

Imagine if you bought a home somewhere, your family lived there, you had kids in school there, you had built relationships with guys at work. Then, right in the middle of the school year, you get uprooted and you have no say in it or where you were transferred.

Yeah, these guys can afford it. They are playing a game for a living. But, at the bottom of all that, they still are people. Ninety-nine percent of us get comfortable with something and we don't like to get thrown into something unknown. At the very least, it's a major inconvenience.

Yeah but when players start throwing out the "no friends or loyalty" card I think it's extremely hypocritical and I'd like to point them towards Iggy as the latest example on an extremely long list of players who do the same thing to franchises.

I don't disagree with you. I'm just saying these guys are people like the rest of us. When they are somewhere they like, they want to stay. It might be a different business than we deal with, but they still are going to have regular-person reactions much of the time.
