I am also willing to bet every Black person you ever come in contact with can tell you a story just like this if not 20 of them.I love the old "there's a report" of blah blah blah. that's the easiest blanket bullshit statement ever.
It's got absolutely NOTHING to do with Cops being good or bad. It has everything to do with a culture that treats Black people differently. The cop that pulled Moe Harkless over was not a "Shitty" person. He has been programmed to respond a certain way to a Black man driving his car in a certain neighborhood. Maybe there was good reason? But i'm willing to bet my life there was absolutely NO "Suspicious Activity" in the area.
You seem to really get it. Lol.Who the hell cares anymore, I wasn’t gonna watch any games after we got dealt with anyway. Fuck it.
I’m just tired as a human being. I just wanted 2-3 hours to escape and watch the team I love, and it’s gone now anyway. Back to depression, over-working myself, and coming home to avoid all the negativity that consumes my TV sets screen that I can.
Oh I get it, you think I’m some asshole who supports police shooting black men? I’m not. It’s terrible, it’s wrong, and unacceptable. However, in regards to Mr. Blake, from all that I’ve seen, and read, this ain’t the person to become a martyr to halt the nation over. The excessive 7 rounds was wholly unnecessary and excessive, you won’t get an argument with me over that. However, when you have a warrant for your arrest for sexually assaulting a child, get tased, still continue to not comply, reach into your vehicle when directly being told not to, reportedly have a knife on you... I’m worn out, what do you want to happen? Tackle him and pin him down? Can’t do that after Floyd. Try to take him down? Have it possibly turn into a Rayshard Brooks scenario? It’s almost to the point where the only thing that I feel people will accept in any situation with police and black Americans with warrants/resisting arrest is absolutely nothing, just let them go.You seem to really get it. Lol.
However, when you have a warrant for your arrest for sexually assaulting a child

I’ve only heard via many posts on the internet that the victim is a minor. I can’t confirm that but the warrant stands.

From the article:
Court records show there was an active arrest warrant against Mr Blake, related to charges of sexual assault, trespassing and disorderly conduct. But it is unclear if police were aware of this at the time of his shooting.
I did not say he was... I was simply posting what his warrants were for.Seems like not a good dude but not a child rapist.
The newspaper reported that a woman living in the 2800 block of 40th Street told police in May that Blake, her ex-boyfriend, had come into her home and taken her car keys and vehicle. She also said he had touched her sexually without consent.

There is no evidence that Blake is a "child rapist," as the Facebook post claims.

I honestly didnt even see you also replied to him. Cause readings hard...!I didn't say you did. You both responded so I replied back.
Holy fuck!1, they fired twice and it did nothing, so they fired to get him to stop reaching for something.
2, the cops arent at fault for this happening in front of children. do not blame them for this.
3, if you had a violent offender wrestle you down, you pulled out a taser and it didnt work, they got up, and went to their drivers door to reach for something, what are you going to do? stand there and just let him do whatever he wants? come on now.
4, he didnt die.
New leagues will mean even less money for players. If I remember correctly, there are only 13 black billionaires in the world, so, who is gonna be paying these athletes the 30+ mil per year they want?I would not be surprised to see new leagues formed with a focus on black ownership and upper management moving forward..especially if the NBA squeezes the cap and cuts back on contracts or salaries.....
If I remember correctly, there are only 13 black billionaires in the world
I think it goes more in hand with how Africa as a continent is so poor and ravaged from infighting and genocides. It’s a ginormous continent with into the billions of people, and swaths of natural resources but because of the extraordinary amount of corruption and wars, not many can actually build a legitimate financial empire. If that's true, that goes a long way in pointing out a major problem in this world with systemic racism. But, to answer your question, there can be ownership teams...each team doesn't have to be bankrolled by one person.
Those big paydays in the NBA may be a thing of the past as well...same as the days of getting 20 million to make a movie for an actor....shit's not the same anymore and may not revert to what we've become accustomed to...the attraction is ownership and management...Melo discusses this on his Melo Monday interviews ..CJ has talked about it...Nelson George wrote a book about it using the Negro baseball leagues..(that's what they were called) as an example...when Jackie Robinson joined the white leagues, blacks lost ownership and control of their own leagues....it's not all about billionaires. Hell Ice Cube started a 3 on 3 league and he's no Bill GatesNew leagues will mean even less money for players. Being a billionaire is rare as fuck for any race, and most that are either inherited wealth, natural resources, or hit the financial nail and built empires, so your putting words in my mouth to make it seem like I’m coming from a racist point of view is very skewed.Yeah, it has nothing at all to do with constant exploitation of that continent by colonial powers. It's (almost) entirely because it's a "complicated area." Similarly, there are few black billionaires in this country because they're largely lazy and the ghettos are poor and ravaged by infighting and black-on-black crime. No overt or systemic racism at all--or, if there was any, it's more of a minor factor in a very complicated situation.
Most immigrants that come here without just crossing the border were relatively well off compared to most of their home country. Just something to take into account.Being a billionaire is rare as fuck for any race, and most that are either inherited wealth, natural resources, or hit the financial nail and built empires, so your putting words in my mouth to make it seem like I’m coming from a racist point of view is very skewed.
Of course racism has played a major part in Africa’s history and formation but to just deny that lack of education, genocide, and corruption aren’t also major issues is basically putting kid gloves on and blaming the white race for all their issues.
On to the American issue with lack of black billionaires, that will change within the next few years, or I’d like to hope so. The question I’d like to propose is why does the average black American makes less in America than the average African immigrant? They come here with nothing, but succeed at a higher level, could it possibly be that in America there is a cultural issue that is also holding black Americans back along with racism (as that would effect the African immigrant as well).

Still my point is, a lot come here, live in the same neighborhoods as many black Americans, have to find jobs, but find success at a higher rate. Why is that? I think it’s fair to say there is a cultural issue that isn’t being addressed. Most immigrants that come here without just crossing the border were relatively well off compared to most of their home country. Just something to take into account.
What a dumb reply. The solutions is obvious. Bypass due process and fact gathering, fire all officers on the location immediately and try them all for attempted murder. Right? I think all NBA players should sit out until that happens. Nothing less than that will suffice.
So sure... Lets just go all facebook fake news and throw "Child Rapist" in there because someone told someone else and of course because my friends aunt who doesn't know anything is sure she read it somewhere so it must be true.https://lakecountygazette.com/stori...long-history-with-lake-county-law-enforcement

It's a shame this has to be explained.I doubt you'd find putting on trial a black person who gunned down a white person on video a "violation of due process." Police have generally been immune from "due process" in our nation's history, right up to present day. Until recently, putting a cop on trial has been generally unthinkable. That's why the nationwide protests and why NBA players are considering boycotts. It's finally becoming thinkable.
